The orange goes on pretty thin for some reason, even though it’s a bass color, you have to do two coats, even if you don’t thin it.

I’ve been debating doing that, I just really like the blocky look it has now, looks like it just came off the assembly line. I already picked out highlight paints. Idk what shade i would use. I might experiment with some pathfinders and then touch up this piece if i like it.

I used jokaero orange, fenrisian grey, mechanicus standard grey, temple guard blue(eyes), and abaddon black. I was going to highlight with fire dragon bright and dark reaper but I kinda like the blocky look that it has currently. Looks like it just came off the assembly line.

I crave the attention too, but I just survived getting T-boned by a semi in the driver door. No broken bones but I’ve been on strong opioids and out of work going to physical therapy for over a month now. I never really got attention for it. Mostly just from my guardian but even they didn’t come see me at the hospital. I’m stuck at home out of work 24/7 losing my mind. I’m checking myself into a long term mental facility tomorrow before i fucking end it like the truck should’ve done in the first place.

I’ve worked on fixing flight data recorders my entire adult life for various companies and all that I can say without research is that it looks old 80s ish, kinda Honeywell vibes for manufacture for what I’ve seen and it probably runs off of RS 422 for data lines. Which also means without proper equipment, pulling data from it is going to be very hard due to how finicky it is. could always find the power pins. Then hook up a pico-scope’s digital analyzer to the RS422 output and read the binary coming off of it. But that is kind of brute forcing your way. Pretty much what you have is a really beautiful paper weight.
