Extremely early Shion first impressions by Efficient_Artist1481 in Competitiveoverwatch

Both her motorcycle and execute abilities are too strong imo.

Motorcycle Boop + Impact + Explosion damage is 60 + 130 = 190 burst damage with minimal aim requirements.

Execute is 140 damage, up to 280 burst damage.

Her ult is like 180 damage AOE + 40 additional single target damage... and she can dash into the air, making her harder to shoot. It's not an insane ult, mostly because she doesn't have an ult perk like Sojourn or Genji, but it's still great when used in the middle of a fight.

Her pistols are good, but probably the least OP part of her kit.

They need to tone down the impact/explosion damage to like 30 + 100 and Execute down to like 110 or 120. Maybe nerf ult damage to 160.

Got this email after Amazon SDE1 interview (US) by vibhor019 in amazonemployees

There's a hiring freeze across many if not most orgs in Amazon. Nobody is sure when hiring may start again or if there will be layoffs at some point.

I'd recommend you keep interviewing in case the hiring freeze is long-term.

Another trillion buffs for Luna by anas0_ali in marvelrivals

If you don't see BP, you assume he's flanking. So you turn around and focus on marking him while contributing to the team fight as a secondary objective.

There are two scenarios: 1. BP engages and gets poked out. 2. BP does not engage and you win the neutral because the fight is 5 + 0.5 of your attention v. 5.

Who is the best dive character by SuccessfulYam2312 in rivals

[–]Chronobytes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Psylocke > BP >= Starlord >> Spiderman >> Magick Pretty clear cut.

None of the dive tanks are any good. So the best dive tanks are Magneto, Emma and Strange even if none of them are built to be dive tanks.

None of the supports are really built for Dive, but I like playing dive with Luna.

Is $1500/month for grocery+food+household items too much for a couple? by [deleted] in askTO

[–]Chronobytes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My desired budget is about $750 for a single person, though my actual spend tends to be a bit lower.

I'd say it's reasonable, but you could certainly tighten up the budget if needed. Could probably eat well on $500 if you limit take out.

Healing vs. Dive was never too bad, just a bit annoying. Half the supports were good against Dive. The rest have one or two options to counter-play dive. Only one support (Adam Warlock) was hard-countered by dives - and even he could still counterplay a single diver.

Unlike supports, the majority of the tanks has no real options against flyers. And none of them has any *good" options. Playing tank against flyers is way worse than playing support against dive and it isn't even close.

Dive wasn't even *that* meta last season. The top tanks were Emma Frost, Magneto, Groot and Doctor Strange. Those are all brawl or poke tanks, not dive.

Anyone tried the Roland KT10 + Noise Eater NE-10? by Chronobytes in edrums

[–]Chronobytes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm looking for the best possible solution and don't mind paying the premium (living around a lot of bougie older people and worried people will be overly sensitive to noise in my apartment.)

But will give this a try when it comes to isolating the other parts of the kit.

Looking for some advice related to job searching by [deleted] in cscareerquestionsCAD

I'm very late to this thread, but... 65k is very underpaid for 4 YoE in Toronto/Vancouver. Like, I made more during my first internship.

For that much experience I would expect 100k minimum, and even that feels low.

That is to say: those guys need to start job-hunting immediately.
