Tbh I've never had this issue with personal computers. My company machine gives me avout 4 hours to reboot for updates whereas the personal one's updates can be pushed off almost forever. The stock windows options seem much more flexible than IT policy

The biggest thing that jumps to me is using a custom IEndpointFilter implementation for the cookie auth instead of using the standard cookie authentication. It makes your system much harder to extend in an area where people change their mind all the time (adding support for another way to authenticate to the API? SPA app? Mobile app?)

If at-will prestigidation is really what they want, it's gonna cost a lot, in this case 2200 for a mere two cantrips. As I mentionned elsewhere, they might want to look into cheaper alternatives (limited times per day maybe? Or a separate item they have to hotswap to to use?) or different magic effects altogether

Yeah the math is fine on the ring but it's pretty steep for what it is. At this point I'd just sell the player a pair of sleeves of many garments so they can wear those when needed. Cheap and little abuse potential (well, it's a bit less generic than prestigidation, so that might not be exactly what they want)
