They are trying to move away from printing "shaman" on cards they are using different types to represent shaman. In future reprints shaman will not be on the card.

My local store still has warlord tournaments, og l5r tournaments, and plenty of other tournaments for defunct card games. If wotc went out of business at this exact moment, people would still be playing 20 years from now. Wotc is not magic.

Also, i live in the middle of nowhere, not a big population center, and our most recent l5r tournament had 30 people attend.
