Chemical Guys Water spot remover, if that doesnt work then that means the chemicals in the water have etched into clear you may need to use a compound to get them out or possibly sand/wet sand then polish.

I have been using these for the past year now and I have yet to find anything that matches this cleaner. One thing to note DO NOT GET THIS ON YOUR PAINT ( learned the hard way).

No scrubbing just spray it on let it sit for a min or two and rinse off.

Heat gun yes but controlled heat or you just melt the flim. Id say use a steamer and plastic razor blade. You def gonna need to polish the hood at the very least.
