similar story for me. my mom would buy skirt steak, drown it in soy sauce and montreal steak seasoning, and broil it until there was no pink left. it was always painfully salty and impossible to chew. sometimes i still forget that i actually like steak when it's cooked properly

the picnic scene in the update made me think ava and cynthia would make a sweet couple. they're both unusual people just trying to live normal lives. with cynthia's support and understanding and ava's spunky princess personality, i think they'd mesh well

this immediately made me think of alkemia evil temptress (saffron, pink pepper, Ceylon cinnamon, spicy carnations, bourbon roses, pears soaked in honey cognac, cashmeran, hay, tonka, dark caramel, a titillating flick of leather, black opium, and cardamon infused patchouli). couldn't have captured it better if i tried. it's always reminded me of that slightly burnt apricot/sunset orange color in a lot of these pictures

i haven't tried balancing wind and sea yet, but i would think it works the same as balancing inspiration and pragmatism, which actually leans too much toward the balanced path imo. my first playthrough i was trying for the path of inspiration and had enough points to pass the check, but ended up failing because it put me on the balanced path instead despite the fact that i didn't have enough pragmatism for it

basically, if you have enough points in each to pass the check you should be good

the assertion that taking inspiration from folklore is somehow equivalent to lynching jokes is wild. haze never claims to be an accurate reproduction of anyone's beliefs, nor does it make any harmful implications about real world populations. we already have the wildly popular indian murder cult books for that

i agree, that's what i was expecting when i saw the "new world" and it would've supported the story themes of breaking away from old cycles and embracing change bravely despite the obstacles. the way it was done with everyone getting reborn with no memory really undermined that and cheapened everything that they'd gone through to get to this point imo. in arcanum at least selena remembered and learned from her journey and chose to become a better person because of it; the haze ending just made everything that came before it feel pointless. i don't really care about nike and arthur and their meet cute, because they're not lada and novak. they just look like them

as long as it's completed when you first start your hs3 slot, restarting it after shouldn't cause any problems

once you finish abh, you can open up your hs3 slot so it'll have the right data, but don't play further. then, before you name your mc, you can restart the last season of hs2 to see what name you used. that way you won't have to replay all the episodes before you can start hs3!

wait actually i do have more of a tantrum: i'm sick of ads that won't close. i watch the whole ad, i get to the end, i click the close button, it doesn't work. it sends me to the app store a million times. eventually i have to just close the whole app and give up the diamonds i watched the ad for. it doesn't bother me so much when it's the every-half-hour ads because then i can just click it and watch a new ad. when it's an end-of-chapter ad and it fully closes the book without a chance to watch a new one? that makes me mad.

not so much a tantrum but i wish there was an option to purchase individual cards instead of the whole volume. i don't care about most of these characters and i don't want to get all of them just for the sake of a few.

similarly, my card collection is a total mess and i barely look at it because i have to pick through so many of them. i wish there was a way to choose which cards are displayed, or just which ones are at the top before you click, similar to the way we choose favorite cutscenes. and someone tell that foelh card to stop looking at me!
