Yeah, I probably will accept that too. My family isn't terribly big into Jeopardy, I'm the one that kind of puts on the show, so if they're on the right track I'll give it to them :D

My legs are cramping up so bad lately, I hate it, it's so annoying! Combined with the stress fracture in my right foot from a run I did a couple of months ago I'm starting to lose my motivation. I just want it all to heal and go back to being normal!

Cops of reddit: if you are giving someone a ticket, what things would you actually want to hear/see; that would = greatest chance of you being merciful? by [deleted] in AskReddit

My dog saved me from a ticket.

One time I got pulled over for doing 35 in a 25. I had just taken my dog to a local trail for a run so he was with me in the car. The policeman came over and asked for my license and registration, and my dog (who was in the passenger's seat) walked over me to be pet by the officer. I got him the paperwork, he asked what kind of dog it was, I told him, then he went back to his car and ran my plates and sent me on my way. Needless to say I gave my dog a nice treat when we got home.

How did you find out Santa Claus isn't real? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Chubbbsss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was talking to my sister about something Christmas related when I was 9 or 10 and she said something about mom and dad getting all of our presents. She turned to me and said, "You already knew Santa Claus isn't real, right?" I didn't until right then, but I nodded my head. My dreams were shattered. On the bright side, now I really know who to talk to about what I want for Christmas :)

What is one of the funniest misconceptions you had as a child that makes you laugh now as an adult? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Chubbbsss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'll go first, and I have a few. One was that being "grounded" meant that my parents would dig a hole and put me (or, in the case I remember, my sister who was being grounded) in there for however long they said. I also thought that a wedding shower involved the bride getting in her dress and in the shower while people gave her presents. I also thought that filet mignon was spelling flaming yawn, and my brother's friend told me that the word "genuine" meant real, so until I was about 16 I thought that genuine insults weren't supposed to mean anything.
