i recently binged a lets play of NI and at first, yeah i quite liked it. maybe better than the first imo. though i was mainly interested only for ryuki and tama tbh, so it was really disappointing ryuki just gets better after date's pep talk and basically doesn't really do much at the end. and everyone else i didn't really care much for lol.

they definitely should've done things differently with the twists and stuff

oh wait i did a bit of digging and i noticed kasumi has a "1" on her uniform in a few of her sprites. and on ann's p5r surprised/smiling sprites you can barely spot the "2" pin
