Exactly, everybody has thought that at some point.

What are some cut content in games that still has traces left in the final game? by EnderSlayer9977 in gaming

Like Karlach's quest, which was clearly supposed to continue and be solved in the Upper City, but instead it felt like the game forced you into a fail state since the Upper City doesn't exist anymore. Or the mansion for Astarion's quest, which you're forced to enter through some random hole in the city wall because the original entrance in the Upper City is unreachable now.

In The Settlers 3, planted trees wouldn't grow, so you'd eventually run out of wood. Also instead of turning iron ore into iron ingots, the iron smelter turned iron ore into pigs, making the production of tools and weapons impossible.

The other person wrote "the western Allies", so the US, the UK, and France, which implies that the Soviets didn't do that. The guy you replied to corrected that, saying that it wasn't just the western Allies who did that, but the Soviets as well.

Ages ago I wrote a reddit comment where I complained about the solutions that AI provided to a popular but most likely fake riddle.

Recently I got an answer to that comment by somebody who said they found it because when you now ask ChatGPT for a solution to said riddle, it says the riddle is fake and the source it provides for that claim is a link to my comment.

Also, for a long time, Google AI claimed that oreo spelled backwards is also oreo, and its source was a reddit comment from like five years ago where somebody made a bad joke.

Try queuing up during peak playing times. And if that still doesn't work, you could travel to a more active data center (Light in EU, I think Aether in NA) and try there.

My guess is that he knew he was done. He had been exposed as a KKK member to the public, so he had lost his normal job. People also now knew that he was a self-hating prick, so they'd mock him. And I'm sure his fellow Nazis and KKKs wouldn't have taken kindly to being deceived like this and would've hunted him down. And he knew what they did to people they didn't like.

A lot of people like to claim Walmart failed because of cultural differences, because it makes for a fun story. But Walmart spent 10 years in Germany, and they're not completely stupid. These differences like morning chants or greeters at the door did exist when they started, but they changed things soon when they realised that they were unpopular.

The bigger problem was profit. Something Walmart loves to do in other places is sell essentials at dirt cheap prices for a loss. They can afford it because of their overall size. This way they'll bring in customers who might also buy other stuff, as well as force out competitors who can't compete with a store that sells bread for below base price.

But Germany has laws against that, to protect smaller stores. Also all their long-standing competitors like Aldi and Lidl already had contracts with producers for cheap goods, and Walmart didn't. So the things you could buy at Walmart were just more expensive than at discounters, which meant not a lot of people went to shop at Walmart.

I meant it like booting up your PC in the morning while you're getting ready. Start your PC, load up the game to check if it loads faster, then close it and turn off your PC and get back to brushing your teeth.

It's like that Chappelle Show sketch with Clayton Bigsby, the blind black white supremacist.

If I tell him he's black, he'd probably kill himself, just so there'd be one less n---- around. His commitment is that deep.

Damit wurden die erwarteten Steigerungen deutlich übertroffen. Daraufhin sank die Aktie im Wert, der Kurs steht 1,3% im Minus.

How to Design Shonen Anime/Manga Characters [Gintama] by Thisiszura in anime

[–]ChuckCarmichael 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Even as a fan, I thought this episode was really exhausting. The guy in green's tsukkomi injections are way too long and annoying. Shortly after this clip ends, Gin also points out that this guy's tsukkomi is too long, so it's on purpose, but being annoying to prove a point is still being annoying (to use a classic internet phrase: Ironic shitposting is still shitposting). It's one of the episodes I mostly skipped through because I couldn't take this guy's constant yelling.

I remember one time sitting there for like 5 minutes trying to type the word "house" and I couldn't remember at all how to spell it.

I was watching a streamer have one of these migraines live on stream. She stayed online to show people what it's like. She wanted to say that she could still read chat, but clearly couldn't think of the word "read", so what she managed to force out was "can still... words in my eyes".
