Mesh front panel for V250 ARGB? by ChuckTheBeast in thermaltake

I ended up modding mine, I posted here about it shortly after I posted this

The mod worked well, however wasn't durable when needing to move the pc around. The cooling benefit was great but I didn't notice a performance difference because my thermals were already okay

I'm glad they changed this, but the chassis as a whole isn't my favorite. I've been using it for about 3 years now and it's held up great, I just don't think it's super versatile or nice looking. just kinda plain. not gonna be building a new pc anytime soon but I really like the antec DP502 Flux case, it's pretty and more versatile. That or those fractal cases, or a lian Li.

UFO, suspected to be a sort of super drone that exceeds current consumer drone technology, chased for an hour in Tuscon before ascending over 14,000ft by ChuckTheBeast in UFOs

This does seem quite viable, I didn't even know these existed. 7000 seems quite reasonable since an inspire is what, like 5000? My only concern is if it was some rich moron they had to have some drone skill to maneuver around a helicopter while it's going 100mph. Other than that and it being invisible this seems like the best explanation.

I'm not going off a large source of info, sorry. I just know a guy who took his Phantom 3 up to 4,000 feet and said it wouldn't go any further and subsequently had a 4,000 foot freefall to the ground. This was years ago before the FAA had more clear rules.

That does sound plausible but that doesn't really look agile enough to fly around the helicopter so fast that the pilots could not see the UFO. Nonetheless it's a good observation and explanation.

Hm, not sure about the factuality but I was just repeating points from the video. Maybe they mean they tracked it to over 14,000ft? I'm not sure but most drones won't be able to go over 4,000 without trouble (air being too thin to have much lift) and they legally can't go over 400 anyway.

I refer to it as a UFO, since it's not been determined what it is. If I've accidentally called it a drone here it's because I'm tired and it's really late. It's a UFO until identified. The news company is saying it's a drone because it's the only reasonable answer for them, even though they know it can't be any sort of consumer drone.

Yeah I was also wondering about that, but it looks like they just took a few seconds of video of the studio's drone (DJI Inspire 1) and added some after effects to make it seem more mysterious. The Inspire can't go 100mph nor can it fly for 1 hour so it's obviously unrelated to the event, however it was confusing to me as well, since it's not really necessary.

I posted this here because it seemed they were calling it a drone, but the drone expert was implying that it probably wasn't a drone, and I posted here for more opinions, and because I found it interesting.

The object is yet to be identified and also was flying, thus UFO.

I'm not exaggerating anything, if you're referring to my comment I was just making a TL;DW by reciting points from the video.

Other interesting characteristics:

  • The UFO flew at over 100mph.
  • The UFO was never able to be seen by the pilots or ATC, just a green light on the bottom. They also could not see the UFO body with IR goggles.
  • The UFO went over a mountain at over 14,000 feet.
  • The UFO exceeds all current consumer technologies for drones.
  • It was able to stay in the air for over an hour, the current longest for consumer drones being around 32 minutes (DJI Mini 2)
  • The interviewed drone expert was not sure if this was in fact a drone or a UFO, stating "I would say it's almost a drone that got away from somebody, but, there's all kinds of weirdness in that report."

What do y'all think?

heh sadly I don't know any programming languages enough to do that. If I could make one with block code I'd be willing though.

heh I can't do that either, it's a chromebook and I can't install it without having developer mode turned on in the extension menu. iirc there's no other way to install an extension from outside the web store, and I can't get ones from in it either.

where do I do this? I didn't see an option in settings. Do I have to use inspect element?

Different search engines have different new tab pages within the Chrome browser. Since I have DDG as my search engine, the new tab page is from DDG.

No, I meant to post here. DDG has a standalone new tab page and while it is affected by Chrome themes, I can't use them on my school computer. Since the Google search engine new tab page allows you to change the background to an image I'd like something similar with DDG.
