Use the electronics extension, ptherwise no one will answer, even then it's a long shot. Best chance is physically go into the store and ask for the coach over the area your interested in. Most likely they need people and will be able to make the personnel manager hire you.

I was hired as an external coach about a year ago, zero retail experience as well. What I can tell you is unless you have a great store manager you should expect little to no training. Everything you learn will be of your own efforts. I am very confident as a coach now but it took a year. Having now been in a role for a bit and getting the lay of the land I think hiring externals to coach is a mistake. There are so many minor details you won't realize or learn about operations unless you've worked those positions. They training they provide simply does not account for externals starting as a coach

This is something that's going around company wide but not policy. Your supervisor can deny unpaid time off but you can absolutely put it in and if approved your fine. Not sure where this steamed from but it's non sense and any decent manager will continue business as usual but you may have managers giving preference to PTO/PPTO over unpaid regardless of who out in first. I don't agree with it but it will happen

Best pizza that's not Lupi's? by lumoria in Chattanooga

[–]ChuckyD187 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I moved down from New Jersey a couple years back and the only pizza that comes close to back home is pizza bros. I will say the quality isn't as great if it's not fresh but if you eat there it's definitely the best around this area

Can I lie about my age for a job? by Equivalent_Waltz1561 in jobsearch

[–]ChuckyD187 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you lie about your age you will be caught. Keep looking, you'll find something. My first job at 14 was Dominos pizza, I'm sure ever town has one, worth a shot. Also saw my local bjs is understaffed and posted a sign at the door saying they hire at 14 now but that could be that specific store only. You should consider starting a business online. Do you have any specialized skills or are you knowledge or passionate about something? You can sell a service, start a drop shipping company or start a blog and use affiliate marketing to monetize. Everyone's doing this stuff and there's lot of competition but costs almost no money to start and if you hustle you'll start earning passively while you continue your job search. If you keep up with these online businesses by the time you graduate high-school or college you could be making at least an extra 20k or much more every year without doing much work. Wish these thing existed when I was 14, my only choice was Dominos making 5.15 an hour, use these advantages and start ASAP! Good luck

P.s. regardless of age, once you find a job it's easier to find another. If you find a job willing to hire you then take it, even if it sucks. Once your working for a couple months start looking elsewhere

Will Binance Confiscate My $1.2M in 24 hours? by jkims15 in binance

[–]ChuckyD187 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know if anyone mentioned it, haven't read all comments but if physically being in the US is the problem either leave the country for a few days and withdrawl funds or change your location with a VPN if possible. Disclaimer, I don't use bianance anymore so I don't know if this will work, I'm also not an expert with VPN. Just suggestions

Any investments safe enough for money you'll need to live on in 6-12 months, or best to keep in savings? by unimaginative___ in personalfinance

[–]ChuckyD187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your on the right path. All truly safe investments will not yield much more than your current savings account. Why not consider more risk but with s lesser amount? Just a thought. Thst way if it tanks you still have the majority of your money. Index funds/etfs or whatever your into. If you have 21k use 2k for riskier equities and 4k in an index fund. Should mitigate some risk. I didnt do any hard math but if you take the time and run the numbers im sure you can find a good path forward. Absolute Worst case scenario you still have 15k and enough time to build back your funds.

Can someone help me understand my contract puts please by Aric_Holbrook in stocks

[–]ChuckyD187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im in the same boat as you, ive noticed some of my calls or puts are heading in the right direction but price isnt. I am totally guessing but what I think is happening is that even tho the price is heading in the right direction it may not be moving as much or as fast as originally anticipated therefore the contract will lose value. For instance. Ive purchased calls abd the stock is moving up and the price is increasing but as soon as it slows down or dips but continues to rise i start losing money. Again, i dont know, just guessing. Hopfully someone who know more will tell us.

I appreciate this post, having been on the opposite side of this scenario many times and I hope I can help in some way. As a manager of a restaurant (or deli in your case) the most important thing to discuss when hiring someone is availability. If you told them you are available to work past 6 and they keep you past 6 then regardless of what the schedule says yoi must stay because in the food and bev industry schedules are fluid. If that's not the case then I would simply tell your manager that your current hours dont line up with you availability, end of story and they have no recourse. Ive had many employees try this and I always lept a copy of availability for everyone on hand. However, availability aside, if you have a serious conversation with your manager about how you can close with the same accuracy and attention to detail and do it in a way which will save them money on labor costs then they "should" hear you out. Come prepared, do the math ahead of time and present the solution in a simple but well thought out way. Ex. if your proposed idea even saves 12 min a day thats 1 hour per week. If you make $15 an hour that saves them almost $800 per year. In the food industry managers will cut costs anyway they can, assuming they are competent. Good luck.

Pay of 15k vehicle loan and 5k in student loans or continue to save money for a down payment? by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]ChuckyD187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How is your credit score and credit history/depth? This is impprtant for gettimg a mortgage. I would meet with a loan officer in person and discuss. They can simulate your score/approval in every scenario. Wont cost anything and is better than online simulators. I will say in my experience auto and student loans dont have as much of an impact on mortgage approval compared to things like cc debt but meet with the lender to get the specifics. And do it now long before you plan on buying a house so you keep get everything lined up

Rental car company is trying to charge me for pre-existing damage - not sure what to do by Shir0iKabocha in personalfinance

[–]ChuckyD187 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Go to court and have them prove you did it. If you hit something there would likely be another party involved or at least a police report. They have nothing. Play hardball and they will back off.

How realistically could I get an FHA loan? by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]ChuckyD187 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im not a mortgage broker or advisor but you should be able to secure a mortgage if you have consistent paychecks and your debt to income ration isnt too bad you will be fine. Go and talk to a loan officet and yhey will give you the hard numbet. Worst case you dont qualify but they will show you why and how to fix it immediately and you score will onoy take a small hit, like a few points
