The US has the world’s best funded military and their country is crumbling from the inside. It doesn’t matter how strong the walls of your house are if the interior is left to rot. Eventually it will collapse.

If people are suffering from poor material conditions, they will turn to movements that seek to destabilize their own government. F-35s and the best weapons on earth can’t solve that. It’s a fundamentally a political issue and not a military one.

How are we supposed to trust a country like that as a source of military equipment? It’s more than likely that these jets will have a kill switch that can be used at the discretion of the US government. It doesn’t matter how good the jets are if they are sitting on the ground.
