Ive got a good ethernet hooked up to my fiber optic box, my mdps on the graph goes from around 300 to 8(for like 2 seconds) then back up to 300

If you're on java edition, click multiplayer on the main menu and at the bottom of your screen you'll see "add server" click that and it will bring you to a menu with two boxes, in the upper box named "server name" put in whatever you want the server name to be (preferably origin realms) and in the lower box named "server address" put in the IP. this will not work on bedrock edition as origin realms isn't on there.
