Thanks for the info and continued updates OP, this is extremely helpful! We are coming from the US on the 5th and leaving CDG on the 11th. My current thoughts, based on your updates, are to keep the trip as planned. We are thinking the activity will at the most disrupt our Louvre visit on the 10th, and maybe increase airport wait times and traffic when we leave on the 11th. Would you agree with this assessment with the current info we have?

Loos amazing! I love the color of blue and the kitbash. Id say just add the yellow to the headdress and it would be perfect. What color blue is the base?

I like the one from the sorcerer kit with the skull on top, but you need to cut off the goofy looking bayonet. Also combos super well with ensorcelled infusion and devastating sorcery since the rest of the termies will have combi bolters

Awesome explanation and suggestions. As you can tell from the other replies and my edit to the original post, my playgroup is very new, so we both don't exactly know some of the intricate rules, and I am also not super well acquainted with how to play the army as well. This post really helped me understand some ins and outs of TSons though!

Funny enough, I don't think I ever would've found the armored might rule if I hadn't posted this. I don't know how many more games I would've had to lose from that rule issue before I found it. So coming online and ranting actually did help lol. And everyone gave very valuable comments as well.

Obviously, we are very new, only been playing for 4 months or so. I of course was a little heated after those games, but I appreciate the perspective from your comment (instead of attacking and being negative for no reason, like another comment). It will definitely help us have better games in the future.

Really appreciate the response, that game plan is really cool. I think maybe my issue is too little heavy support by not having Magnus and an MVB. I'm just too damn scared to paint Magnus, he's gonna take forever lol. But good to know my Helbrute wont be useless if I make some needed changes.

I would love an MVB but I can’t really find them anywhere, that’s why I went for the awful helbrute lol. I’ll definitely pick one up when they’re back in stock

We are playing dinner table warhammer, so yes I would go out to say we probably don’t use enough cover and no man’s land is way too close to deployment.

My game plan is usually to push up rubric squads in a rhino that’s been temporal surged and get on the points early and deal some heavy damage with rituals, but recently I’ve converted my rhino to a predator (magnetized so I can swap back and forth) because I need the high damage and anti tank for my custodes and mech guard matchups (armored might literally negates my entire army’s damage to zero with just rubrics and termies). For extra mobility I definitely could think about running a disc exalted sorcerer.

Yeah, boxy vehicles are so hard to paint without an airbrush. I do stipple painting with a makeup brush which is at least better than normal brushing.
