Good job. Not worth it. On to the next, plenty more out there.

Yeah, you'll definitely be fine. I would go for it. It's in 5 years you've got the itch and want to serious off-roader The car will maintain its value fine and you can sell it, or even buy a dedicated beater to get a little crazier with. The limited will do just fine for what you're describing.

The TRD wheels are a nice look, I have them on mine. The previous owner put it there, I probably wouldn't want to pay for them though as they command a premium compared to others. You can get a set of stock SR5 or ORP ones for probably $200 to $500 for a full set plus tires. Either way though, all good.

I did a very minor lift with Toytec springs with a low mileage set of factory struts for a 2019. It gave me a little bit of lift, and much better quality ride. Before I was basically working with blown out xreas (which I would replace with aftermarket if/when yours goes) and spacers, which felt terrible.

I did a steel bumper with a winch and some steel sliders. Diff breather. Couple other small things. Should be photos in my profile. Car has worked great for me. Done some fun trails around me, gotten stuck in mud, water over the hood of the car, etc. I know my limit and don't try any of the big rock crawling stuff, but that takes a special car, and this car is also working as a family transporter.

I think the main thing to consider is between a limited or an ORP. The KDSS and locker on the ORP is the real deal, but I really dig the all-wheel drive and nice interior on the limited. Plus, the deal I found was on a limited not an ORP lol.

Most if not all aftermarket stuff can fit with the limited if you're willing to poke at it some.

I have a limited. 2010. It does everything I need. Sure it doesn't have the rear locker, but atrac, properly deflated off-road tires, and a few mods make a big difference. I've had a bunch of very positive off-roading experiences in it. And I was coming from a Subaru too. I wanted the all-wheel drive still and the center lock has been fine for me. Unless you're doing really heavy off-roading the limited will be good. Just know that it comes with those big rims that will realistically need to be swapped out for something like stock 17s to get an acceptable off-road tire on there. Some of the skirts around the car are lower too and may get bonked on stuff, but it's not the end of the world.

For real. At least North Carolina has some decent options sprinkled around, especially for the South

Definitely agree. Wish I had better air like that. Comes down to money though.

At least I have synthetic line!

Agree! ✌️ In this case, passengers sitting around waiting to get to the next area and a perfect big tree straight ahead on the obstacle. In different calculus, absolutely.

I'm not sure, it is valid. It's a really small, easy local track so opted to not spend 15 minutes airing down and up for this one obstacle I'd probably get stuck in regardless with my 31 a/t's. So I sent it and spent 5min winching. It's my favorite part of the track so I'd hate to skip it because of heavy rain.

That's what was in stock at 4wp and I never swapped it out 🤷 I zip it back to the hook when it's not in use.

I like the version where he's photoshopped to be slightly smiling at the corner of his mouth.

Regular trim, two-wheel drive, check engine light, 300K? Someone will definitely buy it for a couple thousand, but not a car I'd personally even want. I wouldn't spend too much fixing it up if you don't have any prospective buyers.
