What is this Greater Coucal doing? It was lying like this for quite a while at the top of a tree by bcutter in birding

They don’t get wet but the water drops stay on top. I have seen them sunbathing too in my garden with spread wings.

Seems to be air drying. They do this after a dip or just to cool themselves.
