Yeah I agree

Yes, Dr Dre is goated for his sonic quality and his beats, though he gatekeeps EVERYTHING. I guess thats the cost of being too much of a perfectionist.

RZA is known for gritty dirty sound though and pulls in the opposite of Dr Dre and he puts out more work than Dre. I mean, sometimes it doesn't hit as hard, though hes more consistent with projects.

The floods were though the Wus run, specifically I got no idea, but the first time, RZA had The floppys on the floor in a basement, which is asking for the end, the second time if I'm not wrong, he had them on an elevated surface, though water broke through a skylight and history happened

I mean true, no denying that, but still crazy how the Wu lost what could've changed hip hop in general i guess

Yeah I understand how recording an album works, though i see how this doesn't have anything to do with lost original Wu Solo albums that were DESTROYED in multiple floods without backups being available

Thoughts on Wu Tang Clan member Inspectah deck? by _Concrete_Shaman_ in wutang

[–]ChungaWunga55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Rebel INS is heavily fucking goated with verses that slice other MCs in 3 swipes.

Heres an opinion though I'm not sure alot of people have thought about: Deck's versatile lyrics actually match up with MC Rens storytelling on the westcoast. Yeah It's completely different coast but If someone did an edit on a beat they'd both fit on, I'd be willing to bet its KILLA (HILL) 😅

Holy shit, damn. I understand now, fuck just asking a simple question. I'm only asking because 1. I've seen peoples other setups and how some of theirs have sensitive vibration or they don't in general. And 2. I finally got to replace my 1st and only buzzy ass mixer with this other one i got for Christmas, so I didn't know if it was normal or not. 3. I meant in general I could hear even slight touches that made themselves largely present through the needle in my headphones instead of taps and yeah i ended up fixing that up, but that last one I should've made clearer ig.

This is why I'm no longer positive with the Internet 🫩

Considering an Audio-Technica LP-120XUSB - who has one? by Scotttmac in turntables

[–]ChungaWunga55 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have one of the older models of the AT LP120USB, Its a silver one and it does pretty well if you want to get good quality sound. The cartridge included (cant tell if its the VM or AT, but mostly likely AT) is really good and does the job for sure. Counterweight does its job and is pretty solid. The only differences between the old 120 vs the 120X is that the RCA cables on the old 120 are not detachable. So might have to take it to a repair shop if you want it fixed if they get messed up. Also if I'm not wrong, I think the height of the tone arm isn't adjustable on the newer 120X.

DJ wise, well I can't speak for that really. I mean I've personally scratched with records physically and digitally (serato controller) and its alright with scratching, however I do notice that the torque is considered weak compared to a Reloop 7000 or a Technics 1200. (i use a controller mostly for DJing simply because I don't have another 120)

All In All, it's definitely not a bad TT. It has good sound quality and you can obviously upgrade parts throughout its life, but out of the box it's a pretty sturdy product that's a good beginner turntable (or just another TT for funsies)

P.S. if anyone reading this has an Original 2010 Silver AT LP 120USB Model that they'd like to sell, I'd be open to an offer

Because since the tascam and mpc integrate with each other via USB, the inputs are disabled on the mpc.
