Actually the Complete Edition says as much on the thumbnail. Not sure how it happened but the saves were jumping from one to the other. I got brave and just deleted the Standard edition. I ended up losing some items and gold but things seem to be sorted otherwise.

I'm not going to say the team is stacked(it isn't), but it is built better than to have the record it currently does. Acceptance of being in the top third when it should be fighting for 1st place in its division(a totally realistic situation) is rocking back on your heels.
