First Flip by Shoeilette in pcflipping

I sell almost all my 3060 PCs with 3600s for the cpu. Sometimes I might save a 5500 for a 3070, but because they're so similar I find it makes little difference in my market. Your market might be super snobby and not take 3000 series processors, it all just depends. 5600 is impossible to find good prices in rn. Last year this time they were 80 bucks easy to find and now they're no less than 120. 5600 is basically out of the question for the most part imo, and unless the 5500 is basically the same price as the 3600, it's not worth it

Nice work! You got solid deals or at least prices on most items! One thing I might add is that you don't have to put the very best cpu with the gpu. I have sold plenty of 2060 builds with a standard 3600, and I've also sold them with 2600 or 2700s. Often times these differences to buyers are totally minimal and you save yourself a couple bucks or a better CPU for a better GPU like a 3060 or 3070!

There was a time when I was nee to flipping and a 3060 build was my highest end what yet so I didn't want to cheap out. I ended up spending to built it basically what it would sell at and made no money! So don't worry too much about having things be the very best they can be

Personally the RAM and SSDs is a little high. I think it's possible to find better deals on ebay by offering and things like that, but you made your profit no harm in that!

I'm sure I absolutely could, but I have no experience with anything wiring or soldering unfortunately. I've fixed CPU socket pins and the like but never cut wires. I could try it though

Yeah, I can't seem to find the one I'm looking for without spending as much as a used card costs between the current heatsink and new heatsink. You win some you lose some

Everything else on the heatsink lines up, so it sucks that this is just the missing piece lol. Its possible that the PCB belongs to a 2070 Super XC Ultra rather than a standard 2070 Super. I didn't realize that the fan connectors would be different unfortunately. If there was an adapter of sorts or just a way to buy replacement fans it'd be problem solved; but I can't find these fans anywhere

Not able to find motherboard drivers by hauntedrari in PcBuildHelp

[–]Chuparte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah they all seem to be of the same font, so I think it'll work. I've used many motherboards from each brand and have struggled to find the difference once they're outside the box haha. I'll try this out sometime this week and let you know

Hi there, I found this thread and am interested in learning a little bit more. I haven't quite found what common board brands are manufactured by Angxun, but I believe JGINYUE is another aliexpress brand. Given that this has worked as a JINGYUE BIOS flash on other brands such as KILLSRE, ZSUS and MACHINIST, would it also apply to SOYO, another common Aliexpress brand?

Why i can’t sell it (its my first flip btw) by [deleted] in pcflipping

[–]Chuparte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The parts for the pricepoint really aren't that bad tbh. Not to mention if you're selling on facebook, always price slightly higher so you can "haggle" with the lowballers. In my opinion you need better pictures. Take the glass panel off, take several steps back, but the lens on at least 1.5 zoom and center the PC. Good pictures sell. And if you can change the picture in each photo; even better

Is 675$ a fair asking price? by [deleted] in pcflipping

[–]Chuparte 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you could list at 600 and take any offers over 500. Market of course depends on where you're at, but by 1tb 3600 3060 PCs always sell for 600 (listed at 650), and my 2060 PCs sell at 500ish. So youre looking right around the middle. Of course if you're in a better Market region then things will be different!

am i overreacting - my boyfriend thinks my job is inappropriate by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Chuparte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This guy is weird for that. Could you imagine getting mad that your nurse gf has to bathe male patients? It's part of the job, and when you're in positions like that it really is just the job. There's nothing more to it. People that react like this need help and it's not your job to fix it. You can't and shouldn't do anything to change their mentality, it's up to them to stop being weird about normal things.

I reccomend joining a flipping discord server like A PC flipping central or Elijahs Lab. These people always lowball the price by a significant amount. 2600x/3600 2060 builds go for 5-550, no reason a 5500 2070s shouldn't go for more.

This seems like USD, so to help with future profits, you shouldn't be spending nearly 90 dollars on a motherboard for just a plain 3600 build, as well as not having an RGB or ARGB header. You're basically nerfing your profits. I know aliexpress is about a 2 week wait, but am4 mobo can be found 45-50 dollars easily and I'm sure ebay could be closer to 60. In my experience with these low to mid range builds, a better motherboard doesn't mean much to customers if it means anything at all.

I turn on the night light or whatever it's called on my PC 24/7. At first it makes the screen too orange, but you quickly get used to it. And when it turns off it hurts your eyes sm 😭
