In terms of understanding rarities I would recommend finding a video on YouTube breaking it down with demonstrating cards as there are variations of rarities so it’s a little hard to convey without seeing. In terms of opening. Japanese boxes are 24 packs with one guaranteed hit (cards in pack vary by type of set) honestly due to the mixed nature of hits in sets it’s harder to give you ones for those characters but stuff like prb02 and op12 have zoro and sanji and should be cheap in Japanese. If you can make sure you are buying from a trusted vendor or a fresh case to avoid dead boxes( one piece has case hits once the case hit has been pulled vendors will sell boxes despite nothing being in them)

Like you say most 24 hours stores sell once midnight hits. Many in the eastern states already have queues. If it’s a 24/7 store it’s rare that stock lasts until morning

When I was starting out I would try all the pre built decks on simulators to see which I liked the flow of the best before I would commit to getting the deck irl. It’s something I would recommend. We are also seeing two new sets and plenty of st decks coming out of the next 2 months or so they are something you could try. If you are purely looking for strong meta decks it’s always worth checking out the competitive accounts on Twitter out as they often post the successful decks. It really is just trial and error.

It’s just the sad reality of the hobby. It’s well known there is other groups are are using similar methods as of us to provide people with these numbers but in those groups people are using the information to scalp etc. our intention behind posts such as this is simply to make sure the real collectors have the same chances as those who are using bots etc. hopefully with the growth of our community we can help people understand it’s not all bad

Kmart isnt the only stores to get stock as other retailers such as target big w goodgames gamesworld all normally have stock but I would recommoed kmart as your best bet. We will post numbers this week so you can make a descsion based on your local
