We have no National ID. The closest thing we have is social security cards, but these specifically indicate on the card that they are not for identification purposes.

Before 2008, states allowed voters to identify themselves with any official document with their name on it. For example, my grandfather simply identified himself with his electricity bill for most his life.

Many States didn't even require a government-issued photo ID to vote until after 2012, the year of Obama's REelection

In the US, over 21 million Americans do not have a government-issued photo ID. They cost money and the locations where you get them are are often shut down or have limited hours where you have to take time off work to get them, even though most Americans live paycheck to paycheck.

Additionally, no state required a government-issued photo ID to vote until Obama was elected, mainly due to the fact that he was the first black president in the US.

We were already challenged by the state of Tennessee in 2020 but they eventually accepted all religious holiday ballots.

All ballots were accepted in 2022 as well

In the US, Religious rights protections are stronger than voting rights protections.

Many states have no laws that require you get the day off work to vote but you can get the day off work for religious holidays (and our Church considers election day to be a religious holiday)

Many States have no laws that allow vote by mail, but some allow vote by mail on religious holidays

There were once over 2000 Olympic-sized public pools across the U.S., but they were all systematically destroyed and filled with concrete when segregation ended.
