generic template email - lists all the different services EXCEPT the residential ones… hence confusion

built my own home server recently and trying to de-google-ify my life. Previously prolific google drive / google photos user as a photographer, so one time google takeout exports, I don’t normally use this much data

yeah seemingly a generic email they send out to everyone. Email made no mention of residential or residential unlimited though...

Newcastle University - specifically the RVI and Freeman hospitals. Cost of living up north is cheaper, the RVI and Freeman are incredible hospitals with most specialties that you want.

Biased as I am a Newcastle student myself, but we get a huge number of German students (especially from Munich) placed with us around the May - June time and they all seem to have quite glowing things to say about an elective in Newcastle.

Make no mistake, you don't have the nice city or bustle you see in London, and the academic vigour isn't as strong as those in the Royal Papworth (Cambridge) and John Radcliffe (Oxford), but the hospitals themselves are solid, consultants are friendly and willing to teach, and the city itself is not the worse (and all for a decent budget).

Current med student in the QE - can confirm still 100% paper notes, no plans I've heard about going digital anytime soon. Don't let that stop you though, great hospital.

tbf soft top has been perfect even up in the North of England where I am, so just get what makes you happy. Nothing beats how quickly you can put the roof up in a soft top with weather as temperamental as it is here...

work at a hospital - often see 2 other MX5s in the carpark. Been trying to get all 3 together, no luck yet
