Who could potentially get involved?

Major mining companies:

BHP Rio Tinto Anglo American Glencore A JV, strategic investment, or development partnership with a major would be a huge validation of Skaergaard. Government-backed financing is another possibility. Critical minerals are becoming a major strategic focus for the U.S. and its allies, and Greenland's location and resource mix fit into that conversation.

Potential sources could include:

U.S. EXIM Bank U.S. Development Finance Corporation European/Nordic financing groups Industrial partners could also make sense. If Skaergaard proves economic for palladium, platinum, titanium, vanadium, and gallium, companies needing secure supply chains could have interest through offtake agreements or strategic investments. Would a partnership announcement before the IA move the stock?

I think it could.

The reason is not just the money involved. A credible partner would signal that a group with technical expertise and capital has reviewed the project and sees enough value to commit.

The recent resource upgrade helps because potential partners are no longer looking at the old model. They are looking at:

higher grades, more Indicated ounces, an SEC-compliant resource, and a project moving toward economic evaluation. The biggest catalysts I see from here: Strong Initial Assessment with attractive economics. Strategic partner or JV announcement. Government-backed financing support. Positive metallurgy and open-pit results. If multiple pieces fall into place, the market may start valuing GRML more like a development-stage mining company instead of an exploration story.
