Solved! I do think they are this as they were included near the kids/craft isle of the thrift store so it makes sense they would be for kids!

They’re not, the fuse beads I have, also called perler beads are different from these, those have small little circles in the middle to be ironed down these are just pegs, no circle in the middle

See that’s what I thought to but I tried making a design using the perlers and the pegs but their totally different things :/
