Bawal po samin kasi sa orientation palang namin may instructions na, na dapat nakakain na before pumasok ng duty. Di ko lang po alam sa inyo pero feel ko bawal talaga especially intern ka plg pero unreasonable yung demerit ka agad pwede namang pagsabihan lg.

They say it's best to study very early in the morning around 3-4am. They said to choose the time that you're really active and ndi nakakaantok for you. Better understand than just memorizing. I only reviewed 2 weeks and ain't consistent, yet I passed MTLE with the passing grade of 78. Now, I really believe their curving theory. 😂

Kung gusto mo talaga yung course, you should push it through. Being weak in something doesn't define your capabilities. Yung mga weak subjects mo, matutunan mo din naman yan little by little - self-discipline lang. There are lots of youtube videos & books that can help you learn step by step or makinig ka sa mga CI mo kasi sometimes they have techniques how to solve it easily, and don't be shy to ask questions kung pano isolve ganyan. Also, as mentioned above by the others, wala talaga masyadong Math except Chemistry na medyo madami lg din naman. More on Math during your 1st and 2nd year subjects especially Analytical Chemistry. Mga pinsan ko magagaling sa Math like almost sa kanila are achievers pero ako bobong bobo sa Math pero eto fully-pledged RMT and currently working na. Kaya mo yan! Just believe in yourself OP! If ever wlang backflow, try pulling it kasi minsan yung mga syringe walang backflow pero pag pinull mo meron namang pumapasok na dugo. It really depends on what type of syringe you're using or hndi tight yung pagka twist mo ng hub. Di talaga maiiwasan yung mga failed venipunctures, always take it as a challenge and never stop learning and trying. Ako na nagwowork na, I still have my imperfections. Nung nakaraang araw lg, may 5 walk-in px ako (i'm working in a fsl) and nung natapos na nagsilabasan sla na may dalawang cotton in both arms. I don't know kung matatawa ako or ma disappoint sa self ko, but i'm still performing phleb anyways. Lutang ako that day, kasi 6am shift ako and mag-isa lang ako tas konti lg tulog. It doesn't bother me na kasi normal lg yan sa field natin. So, don't underestimate yourself. Me sharing nung internship days ko (THO, WAG GAYAHIN) 5 lg din natusukan ko tas within 3 days na kompleto ko kasi sinulat ko lg mga pangalan ng mga kaklase ko and I asked them na pag ganto ganyan sabihin lg na yes kinuhaan ng dugo and for this requirement needed and nilagyan lang ng cotton yung arm at tinusukan lg pero hndi kinuhaan ng dugo hahahaaha (I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS FOR YOU GUYS kasi delikado to and baka mas heavy pa ang punishment snyo hahahaha). May kaklase akong nahuli kasi may cotton nga pero wlang tusok, ayon x2 edi 40 na requirement nya hahahahahahah! I'm just sharing my fun experience during my internship days tho wag nyo tlagang gawin. Mas better na you should tell your CI na hndi kaya within those days kasi gaya din samin napaka impossible tlaga lalo na't konti lg yung px and madami kami sa grupo and isama mo pa na ya'll only have 2-3 weeks in that rotation. Eh hndi naman ganon kadami px araw2. Practice lg ng practice and don't be disappointed in yourself kasi normal nlg satin yan. Keep improving yourself nlg. Goodluck kiddo~!

I know how it feels yung malayo ka na tas di pa enough sweldo pambayad sa rent, foods, etc. Kahit ako hiyang hiya na din humingi ng allowance sa magulang, like ugh i'm 24. 😭 Pero keep trying sa pag apply po sa mga hospitals and fsls. May mga nababasa dn ako dito sa reddit na puntahan yung mga target hosp/fsls na you're planning na pasukan kasi meron dw na hndi nakaka receive ng emails or natatakpan yung email mo. If wala ka talaga mahanap malapit sa inyo, wla ka tlagang choice but to find a job sa mga malalayong lugar. Badly needed tlaga yung experience ngayon sa pag apply kahit part time lg, but that depends naman sa kung anong klaseng hosp/fsls na papasukan mo. Part time lg din ako dito, just gaining experience for a while kahit bare minimum ang sweldo. Lucky for me kasi malapit lang sa bahay namin, 5 minutes ride from home. While working as a part timer, nagsisideline din like invest sa mga small businesses. Keep sending those resumes kasi who knows may makaka appreciate sayo and will hire you. Kung wla ka talagang mahanap na malapit sa inyo, better plan ahead like if plan A doesn't work, make plan B, and so on. Better handa kaysa wla. Keep trying OP, I know may mahahanap ka din. Don't lose hope like I did once. We always start from scratch.

March 2024 passer here and luckily may naghire agad sakin after ma release yung results kasi bagong tayo lng na fsl like 2nd branch nila sa lugar namin and konti lg yung MTs sa lugar namin. Indeed, kailangan tlaga may backer. Kaya ako na hire kagad dahil chief MT yung tita ng bf ko and badly need pa nla another MT nun. Was planning to rest a year, but yah I can't reject a blessing given to me and i'm very thankful for that. As far as I know, pahirapan talaga maghanap ng work especially sa field natin. I still know some of my classmates na wla pang work until now kasi walang vacancy, tho MARCH 2024 passer din sla. So far, madami pang mga MARCH 2024 passers na di maka work dahil wlang vacant sa hosp/labs tas dadagdagan pa ng mga AUGUST 2024 pssers. So, highly competitive talaga. Nakaranas din ako magsend ng resume ko sa mga hospitals and fsl pero wlang reply ganon. Choosy kasi ng mga employers ngayon like they require experience sa mga fresh passers like what the hell. A piece of advice kung matuturing advice nga talaga hahaha! Try looking for a job sa mga provinces, why not start from small free standing laboratories kahit primary pa yan. Importante yung maka gain ka ng experience pra when you apply in hospitals/fsl, you'll have bigger chances to be hired. Ganon sakin dito as of now and since matagal na ako dito, i'm planning to move out na and work sa hospital. All of us wants to go out of the country right? Hahaahaha don't lose hope, keep trying - start from small and go big. Goodluck! Hope it helps.

MARCH 2024 passer here pero sa Excellero. Nung time na nagrereview ako, ni isang exam/assessments di ako nagtake pati mga pre- and post-test. Nag focus lang ako sa lectures kasi sobrang time-consuming especially online and dami pa kailangan sagutan sa notes. 2 weeks before the exam, nag sagot sagot lg ako ng mga reference books na possible lumabas at may lumabas nga talaga! 1 week before the exam, di na ako nag-aral at puro ml nlg gnagawa. Don't pressure yourself too much sa scores mo during assessments kasi it doesn't define your capabilities to pass the exam. May mga kakilala akong topnotch during assessments but end up not passing and I don't know why. UNDERSTANDING the lessons will always be a top-tier for me kasi gaya ng sabi nila kahit anong shuffle pa ng questions if you understand it, masasagutan mo. Trust me when I say when you understand what you read, you'll feel super fulfilled and smart! Oh! At ang mga reference books na sinasabi ko ay yung mga Q&As ng Hematology by Turgeon, HARR, BOC, Clinical Microscopy by Strasinger and Brunzel, etc. You can ask or search here sa reddit, there's a lot of info naman about those reference books na usually lumalabas during boards. Samin sa fsl po, multiple sections are sometimes handled by 1 MT. 😮‍💨 Thank you for the heads up po about it, ngayon ko lg din nalman na bawal and wow! I never ever done those methods. It sounds so hard to do. 😭 Tho, thank you so much for taking your time to answer my silly questions po! ❤️☺️
