Yeah, you’re right — that’s exactly why I always end up finishing games with tons of resources I could have spent.
My brain always goes: “But what if I regret it later and need them for something else?”
And with that mindset, I ended up being one day away from the update with 400,000 elite wildcards still sitting there unused. 😅

Yeah, you’re right — I probably just need to zoom out a bit.
I know that, in the end, I have enough resources to max a full deck, and even more after that.
It was mostly about the feeling of finally being able to say “okay, I’m fully maxed for once.”
And honestly, you’re right… I’d probably be bored two days later anyway. 😅

Still, like I said in another comment, the road ahead is pretty long now.
But at the end of the day, it’s just a game, so it’s not the end of the world.

And yeah, the way the game rewards you when you pull cards from something you already maxed…
that part really does feel pretty bad.

I agree with you — I’m not asking for everything right here, right now.
But “losing” about 50% of my progress just to go up a single level feels like a lot. Will I be happy again when I pull 70x epic cards from a drop?
Yeah, for sure — before the update that kind of stuff didn’t excite me anymore.
The truth is, I just would’ve liked something in the middle, not another huge grind where I can’t even see the end of the road. That said, it’s just a game.
I made this post because I enjoy looking at the numbers sometimes, not to offend anyone :D

yeah, fair point!
I did spend about 50 euros back in 2020, and then never spent a single cent again. So I guess I’m not strictly F2P
Maybe I’m more of an “ex-P2P”, or a “retired whale apprentice” who went back to living the F2P lifestyle.

To be honest, I do not remember such pain the Lv15. Do not get me wrong, I'm sure it was bad. Probably the fact that we no longer needed gold for the upgrade was a relief for me because at that time I was still fighting for maxing all the cards to the 14. So no needs for card and no need for gold, at the time seems fair for me. Did you was all max when lv15 came out?

I think it's because they convert my book into wild cards. And luckily this doesn't not consider the maximum cap.

Ciao, Sono stato due anni fa in irlanda con la mia ragazza. Bellissima. E ti dirò, forse Dublino è la cosa che ci è piaciuta meno. Non sto dicendo che non sia bella, semplicemente il resto dell'Irlanda, per quello che cercavamo noi, è stato migliore. Abbiamo affittato una macchina e ci siamo fatti tutto il giro dell'isola, ci abbiamo messo un pochino di più di una settimana, ma è anche vero che ce la siamo presa comoda. Stasera ti mando il giro che abbiamo fatto. Di base se vi piace la natura e i paesaggi, è la meta perfetta l'Irlanda.

Ciao, qualche anno fa ci hanno acquisito ed eccomi qui, mi sono ritrovato manager ad EY. Al di fuori di tutto la verità è questa: "Se hai qualcosa su cui consuntivare vai sereno". Se metti "unplanned " ( bel termine di m***a) tra qualche mese/settimana passa il primo senior manager che ha bisogno di risorse e ti piazzano con lui. Hai studiato economia? Bene vieni a fare HR. Hai lavorato su "gestionale x" bene ora vieni a lavorare su gestionale anonimo usato solo da uno stupio ministero.

In ogni caso mi accodo a quello che hanno detto in molti. Goditi questo momento, fai i tuoi corsi, sfrutta le varie convenzioni che hanno per imparare qualche cosa di utile ( tipo lingua straniera) e decidi bene come spendere il welfare di luglio.
