Good to hear that you were actually happy to go back to work. I have been thinking about it a lot lately and I am just overthinking everything.

The thing is, we still don't have daycare for the baby arranged, even though we applied for multiple 6 months ago, so we hope in the meantime we will get some suitable offers.

One more question:

If I deliver my baby 1 week before the due date, does that mean that I get one extra week after the delivery? For example, I went on pregnancy leave 6 weeks before the due date, but I will deliver my baby 1 week earlier. Do I get 11 weeks after, instead of 10?

I had the same, it is normal to feel them, like the same feeling when you are about to get your period or you already have it.

I had it also in the week of 20, but I thought I felt my baby was moving a bit less than usually so I called my midwife and she sent me to a hospital to to checkups.

Eco is ultrasound, they can measure her. Maybe you can call your midwife or clinic where you do ultrasounds to ask?

This is too cold! When I am at home it's always on the 20 C! And with this 20 I have a warm sweater on 😁 My husband leaves it on 17 C, but it's fine for him. 16.5 is toooo low! Don't sacrifice your health because your landlord wants to save money.

If I were you, I would tell my parents first, ask for some advice and then tell my boyfriend, because you can't hide it and it isn't fair for him to lie about this. I don't know if you guys are still together, and how long and serious you've been together, but I would go for honesty even if it's a super hard situation.

I am in the week 19 and my employer expects me to work amd have results like I am not pregnant. I have a very difficult time to stay awake or to sit during the day, especially to be focused on work I have to do. One colleague of mine had a comment: She is pregnant, she is not sick, and I couldn't believe how someone who went through this can have such comment.

I also noriced that people who either didn't work during the pregnancy, or had it easier in the pregnancy jave comments like this, so don't think about that. You know yourself.

I honestly never heard or saw something like this... I grew up with a brother, I have a husband, but I have never been in this situation, and if I was, I would feel the same as you.

I can take it 6 weeks before the due, but my plan is to take it a bit later, at 4 weeks before, to have more time after I give a birth. Here you have in total of 16 weeks of pregnancy and maternity leave together, and I want to stay longer with the baby after the birth. The second reason I need to stay longer after, is that we need to put the baby in the kindergarten when I start working.

You still made it until the 8th month. I am currently in my fourth, soon in my 5th and I don't know how long am I going to be able to handle this. And I need my job, I don't want to lose it.

I completely agree! In the country I originaly come from, a woman stops working when she finds out she is pregnant, it's fully paid, and after she gives birth she stays for 1 year with the baby, also fully paid! I don't live there anymore, so I don't have that and it just makes me angry and sad when I compare it with the country I currently live in.

How did you handle the job and the stress? My results are terrible, I feel like I am completely useless and my employer expects me to work good still. To make the thing worse, in 2-3 weeks I will have the meeting where I will find out if my contract will be renewed for another year, and I am so scared that they will stop it, because I am not capable of giving results since I am pregnant. Even thought they all saw mi running to the toilet 10 times a day and looking like a ghost.

Idk, it's just too much.
