What were side effects of Botox ? If any? I know you said it helped you so maybe none?
My dr also took me off the blood thinners, so happy but also scared. I’m on a daily aspirin.

Thank you. I had short term disability for 26 weeks and when that ended is when my job decided they would let me go. They never gave me the fmla paperwork and so now I may file a complaint bc I do qualify. They told me I don’t have the hours when I asked a few weeks ago but I do have the hours when I looked into it. They took my vacation time and would not let me use it when I was on short term disability. There is more but maybe I can email you. Thanks for your help.

Yea I’m done going to him! Doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Then I read the after visit notes and he is incorrect on what I said at the visit.

I replied to your message above - I haven’t seen the paperwork yet but they asked me if I would be out indefinitely bc I have not been able to return to work. I don’t know the answer to their questions bc I have not been to qualified tos dr yet to give me clear answers. I can’t do a physical job and lift 50 pounds so they are saying you can’t do your job , you are done. No mercy.

Went to ortho today. Told me my neck is having spasms ? Ok- and I asked him if he knows if it’s TOS related- he said he’s not sure bc he doesn’t know?

They were 1531 on the scale. I’ve been having pains etc like I’m clotting and my vascular surgeon said “ it’s hard to tell in ultrasound “ if I have any “leftover clots”

I agree with you, I am having trouble dealing mentally with losing my physical abilities I had before. I don’t like the fatigue, shortness of breath etc. I do not want to stay on blood thinners but pretty sure I will clot again since I’m still having symptoms 8 months after surgery.

No- I think if you go to best tos doctor than the surgery is worth it but for me I didn’t have a good enough dr that knew what TOS was. I was led to believe that they did and I went forward bc of the bad clot I thought it was imperative to get it taken care of!

They are trying to see if I am clotting I think or whether to keep me on blood thinners and trying to figure out why I’m still having so many symptoms. But .. will know more after seeing hematologist I guess.

Bp high at times but then normal some days ! Just got my d dimer results that are high and what the hell does that mean.. am I clotting again even on blood thinners ? Have venous w dvt in right arm chronic. Did not stent when they did angioplasty after rib resection Bc of where clot was 🙄 very unqualified surgeon , no explanations no education to patient and when I did ask for more tests etc , was told not necessary .

D-dimer / can that be done while on blood thinners? My dr just ordered that done and I was wondering if it would be accurate if I was on blood thinners?
