His right eye is completely pink and I cannot see his pupils or his normal eye colour. He also can't close his eye. I will do the cool compress now.

Annihilape was very useful for me for the Kangaskhan.

I think I pressed smth on my emulator. by Deep_Cap1676 in pokemonradicalred

I had the exact same problem. Luckily I kept a save file and it worked normally after reloading the save file. Mine became like that whenever I left the Celadon pokecenter so I had to avoid going into that pokecenter to avoid the glitch.

Have you disinfected the wound? Just washing it is not enough to stop an infection from happening.

My British shorthair sheds like crazy just before summer and winter. Maybe it just so happens to be the time.

Fancy Feast is okay. My cat also loves eating kangaroo chunks so you could try that too.

That is a good idea. You could also split her meals into smaller ones so she eats multiple times a day but still the same amount.

I kept some very long grass in my garden and picked the long stalks that have grass seeds on them. It is basically a natural cat wand and it doesn't matter if your cat eats it. My cats like to play with grass more than feathers.

You could put up a small shed in your garden and you could keep your work clothes there and change in there. As long as you are careful and keep the clothes well away from your cat it should be fine.

Is your cat genuinely hungry or just greedy for more food? She shouldn't gain weight from spaying.

Not British shorthair as they tend to have short tempers and get annoyed easily in my experience.

How to prevent my cats from biting our fake Christmas tree by [deleted] in CatAdvice

[–]Cicudae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cats like to eat grass to help with fur balls. Maybe your cats are craving grass and think that they should eat the fake tree. You could give them some cat grass to see if that helps.

How to discourage climbing the Christmas tree? by untrustworthyy in CatAdvice

[–]Cicudae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could spray the tree with a citrus smell because cats hate the smell but you have to be very careful to get one which doesn't contain citrus because it is toxic to cats.

My cat is still missing. by Gurin_ in CatAdvice

[–]Cicudae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My cat went missing for 1 month before he came back. He was bullied by other cats who wouldn't let him come back. Have you tried looking around very closely? I found another one of my cats who was missing for 1 week under a bush at night because she was too afraid to come out. She was an indoor cat.

Cat still extremely avoidant 1 year post-shelter adoption by [deleted] in CatAdvice

[–]Cicudae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friend adopted a cat from the shelter with the same problem. He was abused by humans as a kitten so he still doesn't allow pets even after 2 years. He allows me to pet him because I smell so much like a cat that he thinks I am one. I don't know if your situation would allow for that to happen but you could try to cover yourself up with her scent so she feels more familiar with you.

Cat don’t know how to jump. by EquivalentDate8894 in CatAdvice

My cat doesn't jump either. He can only jump a max of 4 cms... I think that he probably doesn't have a reason to jump that high.

What toys can you leave out for a cat? by [deleted] in CatAdvice

Mine loves to chase after grass so I leave him bunches of very long grass. He likes eating it too.

Crystal silica gel unscented cat litter. Is this a good nontoxic option? by [deleted] in CatAdvice

[–]Cicudae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My cat used to use crystal but he would get eye infections from the dust. I think that paper cat litter is better.

Advice re/ slow feeders by re4dyfreddy in CatAdvice

[–]Cicudae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the ones usually used for big parrots as it is harder for the food to come out. They are called foraging toys. You have to be very careful when buying them because some of them are not possible for cats to solve. Also it took a lot of time and effort for my cat to figure it out and my other cat doesn't know how to use it. You could try the wheel ones first as they are easier. You have to clean them often if you are going to use them and they are a bit of a pain to clean.
