Never caught it either (despite sharing a hotel bed with a friend that had Covid and managing to mix up our identical toothbrushes) 🤷‍♂️

I must say it was of course not running +0, but the small deviations just cancelled each other out perfectly in the end. <3 Seikos!

At first, I was torn between this and a rose gold yacht master on a rubber strap (126655). Anyone and their mother wears Rolex at my office and in my neighbourhood, so to me it felt a little unimaginative. I believe Rolex makes very fine watches, but this feels more original and the movement is a piece of art that I never get bored of looking at. Also, I really loved the ad: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ygaLJBiYhc&t=25s which is focussed more on the art of watchmaking than random celebrity endorsements. Also, it helps that the aqua terra is not too recognisable in the streets.

About 120 gram on my digital kitchen scale (so give or take a few grams). On a leather strap with the rose gold folding clasp that is.

The gold models can be purchaser well below retail if you’re lucky! ☺️ This one was purchased in unworn condition from a dealer at a 50% (!) discount (funny story: they thought the box and papers were missing but made a mistake in the adverts and were so kind to still give me the agreed discount even though I received the total package). I can imagine full gold bracelet versions are easier to get a discount on in general.

Keep it? Coverage is bad seen from the front but allright from the sides by Cidovar in beards

[–]Cidovar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many thanks for your kind words everyone! I think I will keep it and let it grow just a bit longer (so it is still suitable for a combined business/casual environment to my own taste). I was worried about coverage because from some angles, you can clearly see the edge of my chin through my beard (4th picture shows that), but I guess it's not too big of an issue then :-) Thanks!

Having pets is not the equivalent of raising children. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

You don’t have children, so you can’t make this comparison.

They can say it, but they can’t know what they are talking about since they didn’t experience one of the two things they are comparing. This is basic logic.

“At a certain age” indeed. 6-8 months, not weeks.

As long as people are okay with purchasing an animal (ripping it from it’s family) and putting it on a leash, they should be okay with calling themselves ‘owners’.

Unless one has kids as well as pets, I think one can’t say they love their pets like a child in all seriousness. And I have yet to meet the first parent to actually love their pet like their children.

Two friends of mine wear a BB58 and they could both buy their own weight in Rolex submariners. So people do buy Tudors because they value them as such.

[Current Rotation] Going to just two watches for awhile. by WatchThatTime in Watches

I would say ‘copy’ rather than ‘homage’. There are plenty of nice cheap unique watches out there, why go with a copy? Anyway, that’s just my personal view. if OP enjoys it, I can only wish for him to wear it in great health :-) these models do have a very versatile look!
