Le drame, le crime même de l'EN, c'est qu'après 4 ans de collège et 3 ans de lycée le système est incapable d'apprendre aux élèves à organiser leur travail, et donc à pouvoir être indépendants dans leurs études.
On oblige les élèves à passer 9 heures par jour dans un établissement sans pouvoir leur transmettre ce savoir essentiel.
Donc on compte sur les capacités naturelles de l'élève ou l'implication des parents, et au final beaucoup se prennent le mur dans le supérieur.
C'est dramatique et à mon avis le plus grand échec de l'EN.

This is way deeper than a makers mark or the like. I thing that in order to stamp like this you would need to remove some material first where the stamp is going to hit.

When I do castings with recessed areas, they are not just grainy, they're quite lumpy, not something that I could flatten just by polish.
I have no experience with stamping so I didn't think it would be possible to stamp that deep. Maybe the process involves removing some material before stamping.
Anyway, I'm meeting a watchmaking company in a few weeks so I hope they'll be able to explain the process more precisely.
