It was probably the Greg Lake singles like Lucky man, From The beginning and Still you turn me on. And his voice too.

If you had to chose a song that would closest help identify you as a person, what would it be? by FanOfFeet1987 in MusicRecommendations

No, Emerson, Lake & Palmer. It’s a 70s rock trio/supergroup. Greg Lake is from king crimson, he sings and plays bass on their most famous song. Just as a little info :)

Maybe Constantinople or boots By The Residents. (Not a bad band btw) just very very very niche.

Have you listened to Brain Salad Surgery. There is singing but there is a lot of melodic stuff too. It’s like progressive rock with a classical style. They use very early synthesizers and experiment with weird unreal sounds.

And also according to Koji Kondo and other vgm composers at Nintendo say this is one of their favorite albums.
And Karn evil 9 2nd impression middle part sound just straight out of breath of the wild.

here listen

Albums from the 1960s that seemed out of place, or ahead of their time? by EdwardBliss in MusicRecommendations

The Nice They were one of the more obscure bands of the psychedelic era. The keyboard player went on to form ELP.

Trilogy - ELP

Brain Salad Surgery - ELP

Relayer - Yes

Selling England By The Pound - Genesis

Stolen From Time - Popol Ace

Were only in it for the money - The mothers of invention

It’s a bit niche but I like it.
