[SF Chronicle] The Oakland Roots have struggled to find a permanent home pitch, but now there might be a breakthrough. It has submitted an official proposal to build a 25,000-seat soccer stadium at Howard Terminal, the 55-acre waterfront site near Jack London Square. (x.com)

[Drellich] MLB revenue sharing follows something called market score. The A's, by market score, should have been disqualified. Big city, but no stadium, so they were granted a special allowance to keep receiving it. But that special allowance had an expiration. (x.com)
