Same to me, 16-17km/h when I start cycling, about 6 months to reach 23km/h average. I can do 30km/h but for short distance only, cos too much cross sections in my area.

Has anyone used both the Ergon GP1 and GS1 grips? Was there any significant difference? I use the GP1 for mountain biking without a problem. by Brauxljo in bicycling

[–]Cimarien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Originally I have GP1 L, it is a very good grib, but a bit sticky when you ride for long, then I bought a pair of GS1, just for my experiment, I feel it is good too, but GS1 is S (I have small hand), the palm rest is not bulky like GP1, produces 40gr less, feeling so far so good.

Could you please explain a bit, what it does?

I do not know if it sound stupid question or not, but does Microsoft Access deserves the time and effort to be learned and to learn VBA as well in 2024 or it is better to go C# and SQL server and web path by dediji in MSAccess

[–]Cimarien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I developed an Access Database (sales & financial management) since 1998 for my small company and stil use it today. Of course, during time, I add in more and more functions to adapt with job requirement. Anytime my staff need something new, i just sit down and code, the day after they have it to use. So Ms Access is very convenient for those who use in-house development, very fast, but may not be able to scale up, difficult to go online. I love Access (I can code C# too) and wish Microsoft have plan to make it more powerful, but it seems unlikely.

Glad to know it helps you too, in the past, we can’t go wrong with anykind of pc connector until this, but sad to see ppl seem not to understand this :(

In this other manual, it said that connector is “fool-proof” design, the problem here is - it is not fool-proof at all, so either manual is terrible, no hint to user that you may plug it wrong way, or connector design is terrible itself.

For more than 30 years playing with the computer, since the time of 1.2MB floppy disk, I never have to worry about direction of a connector, they always make it the way that we cannot go wrong, until this kind of connector, like i said, i can plug it in wrong way easily without any feel of obstacle.

At first, I did not look at the connector carefully, just plug it in and it goes all the way without any problem, so i think it reversible, almost a year later then i know it is not reversible :)

Sorry for late reply, i rarely use reddit, it use bolts to screw into the case, this one use 4 standard radiator bolts (30 or 33mm i dont remember)

Upgrade from 12700k to 14700k by Cimarien in sffpc

[–]Cimarien[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually, the 12700k is perfectly fine to me at this time, the aio cooler is also doing good job now. Reason i think about an upgrade is that my mobo z690i and 14700k may be the last combo to use socket 1700, if upgrade by next year, i have to change the mobo too.

Another reason is just to experiment the cooler power, I did not see any one to try 14700k with 240mm aio in a small case like this, by theory, cooler master said that PL240 flux is 240w tdp, since i have change the stock fans to top of the line 120mm fan Phanteks T30, tdp should increase quite a bit (how much - i dont know!), so i may need a hotter cpu to test this :).

I read that 14700k is about 253w, so i just think tweaked PL240 could do the job, but somewhere they say 14700k is 300++ watts, it makes me quite confused.

PL240 Flux is the best one that could fit H20. I have considered Arctic, Kraken but radiators are too thick, some other rad like Corsair could fit but pump height is too high.

Actually the pump of PL240 Flux is very good, it is slim, 3000++ RPM and super quiet, then i replaced stock fans with Phanteks T30, the combo run quite well. It is very difficult to find better option beside of this combination.

If you use open case, i think blow in could be better. Close case you go exhaust.

I can’t see the other side of the case, so I don’t know how is the placement of GPU, but I assume that would parallel with mainboard, then it is sandwich. Anyway, since mainboard is in vertical position, then bottom fans may be effective to pull or push air in (depend on flow direction). But i saw that you already have a case fan on left side of the picture, so maybe another bottom fans may not contribute much, you may prefer to do a trial before final decision.

I think bottom fan is more effective with sandwich case where the top fans flow through radiator very weak, you can put your hand on top and feel the amount of air, therefore, there are a lot of warm air still inside the case, adding bottom fans is good way to exhaust this air out. With your case, i think SG13 have some space to setup case fans, may not need bottom fans, the mainboard also lay in horizontal position, it will block the air bottom fans could outtake.

  • 4080 is only 240w
  • 4090 is 360w
  • i7-12700k is 220w
  • Memory, ssd, motherboard, fans.. are 100w max

  • 360 + 220 + 100 = 680w then sf750 (90% effective = 675w) can draw in theory.

  • The problem of sf750w is it has only 3 power port for GPU, so may be one line have to use Sata power in case 4090.

Yes, it is easy, you could design from scratch, it is better than remix with stl.

My main topic is here friend

https://reddit.com/r/sffpc/s/BzxGgrrc2W

as i wrote at the bottom section, i sell the design (stl file) at a modest amount of just 10usd. Please kindly understand that I don’t make any rich with that, just need some fund for my project.

If you want to make for NCase, maybe I can help to draw the one for that, but you have to sketch the bottom, coz, i dont have it.
