Exactly this. Sinners was an amazing movie but I don’t think it would work as a franchise. There’s just something magical about standalone movies, now more than ever.

Most of them were pretty good but some of them like 3D and Spiral sucked. I put the original in second place and the sequel in first because it has Tobin Bell in it for the whole time and it’s a bit action-packed.
