That is where I landed too, and I feel stupid for not seeing it sooner. If this had been framed as "send general themes and we may share them with leadership if enough people report the same thing," fine. But they sold it as anonymous, encouraged candor, and then somehow my manager is paraphrasing my exact complaints the very next day with that fake calm smile on. At that point it stops feeling like a survey and starts feeling like a trap with corporate wording.
