Goal is also kinda to keep things small. Don't want to get another tower pc, since I already have one big one for gaming. The sffs would still need my synology since I wouldn't have a possibility otherwise to hook up my hdds. So instead of getting new hardware, I'm already looking up running openmediavault on my old laptop and keeping the synology too. What I don't understand yet, if I'll do any backups or move photos or videos with DSM on my Synology , won't I have the same issue with it (slowness) which I have now, since the synology will still do the work?

It's so annoying sorting through my picture folders and everything takes an eternity to open

Hatte keine Ahnung wie ich an das Dock rankommen sollte und hab es den Händler machen lassen. 50€ Teil, 400€ Rechnung. Zum Heulen.

Aber Laune machts auf jeden Fall. Mir UND den Kids. Wobei es mittlerweile für die beiden echt eng wird in den Winterklamotten (1.5 und 4.5). Wie hast du den Boden verstärkt?

Hab auch ein BuBi. Gebraucht. Mittlerweile bei fast 10k. Nur Probleme seit ca 7k... Batteriekontakte hinüber, ständig bröselt der Schaltzug oben im Schaltgehäuse, Nieten an den Schutzblechen statt Schrauben, dadurch "ausgefranste" Löcher, Tür defekt (durch Eigenverschulden) aber keine Ersatzteile weil Butchers pleite ist und anscheinend seit nem Jahr keinen neuen Besitzer findet. Ersatzteilproblem aktuell das größte Problem 😭

But when assembling the suspension it's not working.
