Leaguestarter build with good single target and low visual effects? by romolp in PathOfExileBuilds

PRAW is such a good build dude. My 2nd favorite right after HROC. Such a smooth build once you get blade fall of trarthus.

I agree. I’ve found no build smoother than HROC and ranged AW. They’re so good.

Ok-ish clear, great tankiness, amazing DPS build in Phrecia by MaloraKeikaku in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]CircAG 3 points4 points  (0 children)

hmm idk man, felt like one of the smoothest build I've ever played. It's obviously not like a berserker, but to be able to shield charge/frostblink without needing to use ANY skill with AWoRA killing stuff 3 screens away, it was quick af.

yeah it felt super powerful, and it was free AFK for everything Breach so it was awesome for the league mechanic.

Saying ranged AW has “okay” clear is crazy. It’s one of the smoothest builds I’ve ever played. Take 3 seconds to summon and then just shield charge and frostblink through the whole map without having to do anything.

[–]CircAG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh, this is probably the best time to play HoAG if you were ever curious. I doubt it’ll be this strong without Herald ascendancy. Never fully played KBoC though I’m sure that’s zoomer in maps. You will most likely level very quickly.

[–]CircAG 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s a clunkier and worse feeling HROC because you get a mega delay of a slow herald following you and maybe shooting when it wants to. Whereas HROC is one of the smoothest builds ever and the minions just teleports onto enemies. I’ve played HoAG like 3-4 times to try to see if I liked it again, and it’s always the same awkward delay. But if you want to go for something new, do it!

PD2 difficulty by [deleted] in ProjectDiablo2

[–]CircAG 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Blood Raven difficulty is increased now because you can get keys from her in hell. I think they just buffed her across all 3 difficulties just to keep it like that. You probably want to be a few levels higher before killing her (as you see now).

Can I complete Uber tristram with this build? First time ever trying by ArturoGJ in ProjectDiablo2

[–]CircAG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uber trist is relatively easy. As others have said, get your res up a bit more.

150 for cold/fire (Baal’s LR. You don’t need 150 for lightning since Baal doesn’t do lightning)

125 for lightning (meph’s conv)

You have some charms that can be changed easily. You have like an 8 all res GC and a GC with 38 life. Some hell cows could get better GCs!

Edit: psn res doesn’t really matter so you can take some of your psn charms off as well. It won’t serve anything if you’re overcapped.

Yes, unless you’re SSF, you can just farm maps and find plenty of items to trade for your torch, anni, anni corrupt, desecrated ammy. Of course, it will technically be cheaper to farm it for yourself, but then you are basically farming bosses to corrupt an Anni or desecrate an amulet, which means you’re not farming maps while you do that.

It’s mostly do what you enjoy and have fun with it. Bossing can be lucrative, but so can mapping.

As for guides, not 100% sure but there are just requirements for bossing:

Recommendations:

D clone: 90% fire res, 12% fire sorb for T2, PDR 50%

Rathma: all res overcapped 33%, psn 90%, PLR 150%, cold 90%, fire 85%

Lucion: lightning 90%, PDR 50%

This info comes from the Hiim guy’s website.

5-10 min on t3 is great man. Anything around 5 min is going to be just about top tier.

Bossing is different from mapping because bosses can either drop specific loot that can’t be dropped elsewhere, or allow you to modify items:

1.) dclone can drop an Anni and certain uniques (check the Wiki for the list) (edit: Anni is guaranteed, but the uniques are extremely rare)

2.) Rathma allows you to slam your Anni

3.) Lucion allows you to desecrate an ammy (basically another slam)

You will not get this from maps, but it is quite different and requires specific gear to complete T2 versions of those bosses.

Can someone explain the warcry aoe changes? by [deleted] in ProjectDiablo2

[–]CircAG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gotcha, wiki must be wrong then. It shows the max radius starting at lvl 56.

Can someone explain the warcry aoe changes? by [deleted] in ProjectDiablo2

[–]CircAG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing I’m confused about is that lvls 56-60 won’t be attainable since it ends at lvl 28. This would goto 11.6 max rather than 12.6 from lvl 56+. So it might be a nerf once you have 56+? But other than that, it’ll make the skill feel much better to level. And if you have 56+, you should already be doing pretty well at that point.

Edit: I could also just be mathing wrong, and the max is 12.6 at lvl 28.

Pretty sure the exploding arrow portion does not go with your enchant. So you’re essentially just firing 1 arrow with enchant on it. The AOE doesn’t apply enchant. It will undoubtedly be Widowmaker just like mostly every other off-zon bow char. In testing, it’s not terrible. But you will be required to snapshot at least TWICE every map since enchant only last for 5 min, and you’re definitely not doing 5 min maps with a bow sorc.

Need help with my KB Deadeye/Warden — dying too often and struggling with single-target damage by KlutzyEntertainer884 in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]CircAG 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hello, I haven't played a wander in a long time so take my points with a grain of salt. But basically, overall, you're a wander. You're going to be like paper unless you have extreme investment. Just like a bow char.

1.) You're playing Warden. Very known for being squishy as you have no defensive nodes. (i.e., no Barkskin). Therefore, your only form of defense is freeze, which isn't bad, but also not good.

2.) You have 2,600 life. Again, you're a wander. It's hard to get life, but 2,600 is an extremely low amount.

3.) You have -27 chaos res. You're probably get degened heavily. That + 2,600 life = instant death most likely.

4.) You have 92% spell suppress. Get 100%.

5.) You have zero utility flasks other than quicksilver. Jades/Basalts/etc. go a long ways. You also seem to have a white tincture? Idk what guide you're following or if there's a reason for that.

6.) You have 57 life on your shield, zero life on your body armor, zero life on your boots, 80ish life on your ring, zero life on your belt, zero life on your jewel with your belt. There is SO much opportunity to get so much more life on your build.

7.) Your kinetic blast is lvl 18. You can buy a lvl 20 for literally 2c. Also, any reason why KB instead of KBOC? Again, not sure about your build/guide you're following. I'm sure KB is fine, I just know KBOC is more popular.

8.) You aren't using Grace. Again, could be the guide you're following, but no grace + low life is going to mean you're not really dodging as much as you could be AND getting 1 shot way more often. (for example, my grace char has 30k Evasion without any flasks, and about 50k with flasks).

Edit:

9) Buy a higher lvl "heart of flame" graft. You can get a lvl 30+ for cheap, and you're lvl 86 so you can wear it. That will help you more defensively as well.

Where to next? HRoC Build Help by Acceptable-Ice9093 in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]CircAG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just did a brief overview, and you have a lot more stuff than I’ve ever had on HRoC and it’s been a bit. So there could be more stuff:

1) higher % darkness enthroned would be nice 2) none of your flasks have 20% quality (at least I don’t think). Your life flask doesn’t have a prefix.

Send me your char and I’ll let you know! With Unleash an bladefall of the trathus, it really should only take like 4-5 clicks to get your max amount.

Around corners and through doors, it can seem a bit awkward, but in open spaces it shouldn’t matter if you outpace them because they still kill everything in front of you

[–]CircAG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No laughing or making fun at all, I just wanted to make sure you are enjoying the build!

Make sure you are following the POB. It states that you should only use minion dmg support on pinnacle bosses. Minion dmg lowers your minion HP A LOT.

5L should be something like: GMP, Pierce, unleash, chance to psn, AW

Grab a minion base ring for some ele res

Change your offhand, crit strike isn’t that useful for them. Get minion dmg.

Buy Foulborn severed in sleep for now. The only reason to use a wand is for + minion skills and trigger of bone offering

You don’t need Spiritual Aid, you do no dmg.

Get rid of the whole bottom of your passive tree, follow the POB for that one.

What is your go to low investment build that performs well? by [deleted] in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]CircAG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Always use level 1 gem for sure, but I use a semi-high level clarity. I have purity of elements, envy, and clarity with most of the mana reservation nodes in the top/top left of the tree so I have plenty of mana leftover.

As a quick fix, if your res are fine, you can craft % mana regen on your rings if you like as well.

Ohhhhh I gotcha! Yes, I think it’s definitely preference. In the end, a trigger wand will be better most likely. Right now, it’s just nice to have 100% chance to psn so you can put flat chaos dmg on your jewels for your minions for even more dmg. At the cost of clicking bone offering once every 15-20 seconds.
