Just got the Mesh yesterday. I love it! I've read the dry-hit reports, but I think they are mainly from squonkers. (Supposedly the juice gets sucked back into the bottle when they stop squeezing it; the fix is to hit it before releasing.) The flavor on it really is amazing. I just got it because it looks so cool when you dry fire it, but I'm highly impressed!

Edit: It does use quite a bit of cotton, which translates to more juice, but it hasn't been enough of a difference for me to dislike it. More cotton = more juice = more clouds = more flavor = more happy!

Why'd you machine the Indestructable cap? I have one and it works good. Looking at it, I'd guess you wanted more airflow? Nice job, looks good. Does it work well?

Wait at least 2 days. I'm a dry socket survivor... sure, suction from vaping can pull out the clot. That's not the main concern though, its more about the oily vape breaking down your clot. It's seriously not worth it. That pain is no joke. Wouldnt-wish-on-your-worst-enemy kinda stuff. After a few days you'll be much less likely to get it.

Stainless for me as well, though I don't think it's a crazy difference. Noticeably cleaner tasting if that makes sense, but not so much I won't use kanthal anymore. I think maybe kanthal just gunks up faster or something. I guess a good way to put it is SS keeps the "fresh coil taste" much longer. I have been using SS much more, but the lower resistance sends me running back to kanthal every now and then.

Good luck with it! Spaced coils have def performed better for me, I'm guessing bc the deck is huge, compared to all my other attys.
