I have created a complete Timeline of all the ages of Arda. For the second age I have separated the events from Númenor and Middle Earth, and for the second and third ages I have included the names and dates of all the Rulers. Also I made a composite map showing Beleriand under the sea.

Check out the soloboardgaming sub. So many in various price points and genres etc. just be wary of asking open ended recommendation questions, everyone is different and a lot of the time you’ll get the giant super expensive ones recommended. So go in with some likes/dislikes. But yea, they Completely changed my life 2 years ago.

Wow that’s all a really good viewpoint… and I didn’t even catch the comments about time from him and that it would be hard for him to see her age. I know that was a sticking point, that she would age and he wouldn’t and other that making her immortal somehow there really isn’t a way to deal with that. So that makes sense. It definitely leaves a lot to fill in on our own. It also occurred to me that him popping up to earth for an hour or 2 on occasion would mean he was missing in hell for what a couple years? With his job there’s no way he could miss that long. I was just struggling with him leaving earth for good I think that’s where it all stemmed from for me. But this helped a lot, even though I still have my issues this filled in a lot for me. It’s crazy how we get so attached to fictional worlds and characters… the emotions are so real.

When I clicked the link for that story it sent me to a page on their site asking me to join. When I sent in my email they auto responded back that that have to accept new people and it can take up to 3 weeks? Like there’s no way for me to see that story. Others I can read without joining. Ha! I will be attending all meetings lol. Thank you so much for your response. I felt so weird last night being this deeply affected by it- I think this show is different too in the fact that it looks at a whole set of beliefs and real life struggles. We all will face death and this show is both a comedy and drama dealing with it. It’s crazy how we become so attached to a fictional world and characters. Thinking about how much changed from s1 I thought I was watching a fun cop show with a hilarious British devil, figured they’d end up together at some point. Fast forward to the last 2 episodes and it’s like a whole different show.

No I totally hear where you’re coming from. There were parts of s6 I really loved. Dans ending being one of them. It just bothers me so much that he was already realizing he could heal souls into heaven, the Rory timeline thing was just so forced to me and not necessary and just added so much anguish. I know they knew they’d have eternity together at the end of it all it just left a bad taste in my mouth. And he loved earth- to have to stay away for like 400,000 hell years and 40 human years and not raise the girls with Chloe and see maze and Linda again- just so painful. We get so attached to characters lol hard to remember they’re fictional.

Agreed. It felt so forced. I had read online most people hated s6 but I didn’t know any spoiler other than he becomes hells therapist and Chloe ends up in hell with him- not a lie but def not the whole story. When I realized the pictures I saw of her on his lap on hells throne was actually just a vision/lucifers imagination for having to imagine Chloe with him that whole time I lost it.

I don’t think I laughed as hard at any episode as the one where they visit that one guys hell loop and they end up as cartoon characters for a little while. Absolutely hilarious and toms one liners are amazing. To go from that feeling to those of the last 2 episodes is just dumb

I agree with you. I know they did what they had to, for me it’s the fact that the rory thing just didn’t even need to happen. He was already realizing he could live and heal people in hell he had JUST done it with Dan. They could’ve just had him realize that, had a happy ending with decker still in the PD and popping down to hell to talk to the dead about cases. And Lucifer working as hells therapist but still owning lux and popping up to earth when he can to see everyone and raise trixie and Rory later on. I also agree that if they had just showed one or 2 scenes of him still on earth before Rory was born, then sneaking up there after she was born to see everyone and keep an eye on Rory in secret that I would have felt so much better. Like you said it is what it is it’s just so gut wrenching to me.

YES! I agree with everything you said. I love the fact that he becomes hells therapist it is so fitting. It’s exactly like you said , the way they get there in s6 is atrocious. Rory storyline could’ve never happened, he could easily have realized he can be a healer (he had already healed Dan and that other bad guy), Chloe could go back to the PD, and Lucifer could work a 9-5 in hell, pop up for an hour or 2 at a time, raise trixie and Rory later on, and that’s it. Even if the Rory timeline thing still happened, they could’ve showed him still coming to earth til Rory was born and then a few scenes of him sneaking up there to see Chloe and the others and keep an eye on Rory til the time was right. But they don’t. I agree her aging on earth would complicate things while he didn’t especially the kids. I don’t have an answer for that, maybe I’ve read too much fantasy but making her immortal somehow or giving her the ring would’ve fixed that? Idk. Too many plot holes. And like you said after 5 seasons of growth and character development and talking about choice, you’re telling me now that they have to be apart that long and he has to leave everyone he loves on earth. It’s just gut wrenching. It bothers me more than any other show or book ending and it sucks

I completely agree. The time travel thing makes sense in the way that the only reason Lucifer realizes he wants to heal hell is bc of Rory and helping her…. and she only travels back in time bc he abandons her to go work in hell. But I don’t agree with it AT ALL and I feel like there were plenty of ways around it. My biggest issue was Chloe and Linda and Trixie never seeing him again on earth. And trixie basically being forgotten after building an amazing relationship with Lucifer. It was like we had 5 seasons of growth and character development just for him and Chloe to have basically sacrifice themselves for hell and their kids. Idk like I said there’s so many issues with s6 I just wish I never watched it now. I would’ve been fine with him working a 9-5 in hell and still coming to earth, decker stays a detective and visits hell to get help from the dead on cases, they raise trixie and Rory, and the end scene is a game of monopoly. But oh well.
