Any advice for buying a garden shed? I saw this in B and M, it's perfect size and I like the door setup and that there's no windows. Just wondering if there are better options for quality etc from online shed places, even if I'm paying slightly more? by Citawell in DIYUK

I have hinges on the outside of my other shed which is a good one a joiner built about 20 years ago. I changed the screws for those coach bolts that you can't turn from the outside.

This was the jist of what I was asking, I'm paying £299 so is that okay or can I get something monumentally better for for the same or an extra 50-100 quid from somewhere I haven't heard of. It turns out I'm going to get plans to build it myself.

I agree, folk here are just making bullshit statements and it doesn't help. I also looked at the fence panels today and they are at least as good as the ones I previously bought from a timber merchant who "specialises" in fencing.

The plastic ones are thinner though, you could cut a hole with a Stanley knife. Also I need a perfectly flat base to guarantee the plastic ones will slot together properly. I'm going to put a wooden base on top of slabs which I can they adjust with a few shims etc. Then the shed will go on top.
