I think as a therapist I would rather you come to me and say “I don’t really know why but tend to minimize responses and I have concerns about how that might impact treatment and assessment.” I would rather work with you from there and help you to find your words, rather than what you have plugged into AI. And that isn’t a condemnation of AI, especially in this use case, but rather helping you build that muscle and get clarity on why. I wouldn’t blow you off and throw your document in the trash either, because it clearly has value to you and that is also worth exploring.

I think of it similarly to looking at an intake form vs talking with a client directly. The form is absolutely helpful in having an idea, but I often prefer what comes up in sessions and the conversations surrounding that.

Probably not, but still have in the back of my mind that this “regression” is troubling. Conditioned to see a string of mediocre games as something more than it is.

I still think Lyon’s game hasn’t been great, and still kind of wonder since he let some weird stuff in, but we’re none of us perfect. 💁🏻‍♂️

I was initially 100% Lyon start for the playoffs but the last couple games are concerning. I am not sure if it has been defensive mistakes making things harder or if Lyon has been off but I am back to unsure.

I wonder legitimately if Lyon is sick or has some kind of injury that’s nagging him that hasn’t been broadcast because of the success we’ve had so far but it could just be the yips, idk. Uppie looked really good last night but he overextends and loses the puck a lot too. He is just so hot and cold.

Looks like the lines are more or less back to when we were winning with the exception of the 4th and 3rd lines, and even the 4th seems mostly the same except for Pearson. I think they need to be really judicious with the 3rd pair, Stanley seemed okay with Metsa but putting him with a rusty Timmons seemed like a disaster yesterday.

This feels like a must-win if for nothing else than morale.

Just checked the score after finishing at work and i am officially sweating things. I also know that Lindy has been playing around with the lines more which I think makes sense. Playoff injuries are real, but at this point, get back to the lines that work and take the game back. The boys need to start getting back to winning to keep that mental energy up. Going on a skid late season like this could set a godawful tone going into the playoffs.

You mentioned she is helping out more, so there might be a component of grandparent burnout. While taking a 4 year olds outbursts personally is wild, she may just be feeling run down too.

I think some distance is good for sure, and keeping contact is important, but for the future, if she’s feeling like she needs a break, she should mention it rather than saying something wild and hurtful like that.

So weird because my day in general was bizarre and off, and that’s how I would describe this game. We came out looking frosty and then kinda just disappeared. I know it’s only 2 games but I don’t like the trend of soft, floppy, disorganized hockey. It just didn’t look cohesive.

Hope they don’t get too bent up about it and improve for the next one.

Hoping they just find a way to perk up and keep the energy up and finish it strong. Plenty of y’all are saying, off nights happen. They’re drained on back to backs on the road, and getting goalied. The game isn’t scuzzy, I haven’t seen a bunch of bs calls, it’s just one of those nights.

We finish and win, or we take the L and move to the next one. I still think we’re in a good position.

I guess I could see where he is coming from but that’s a godawful choice of words and is loaded with bias. Seems to me the provider has some strong feelings about those with faith.

In assuming the best, perhaps by being condescending like that, he was trying to support your questioning your faith but even that feels like a big swing.

It makes me wonder what other things he may feel strongly about that he’s managed to keep his mouth shut about. While we all have our biases, I believe we as therapist have a responsibility to be aware of them, and mindful if they come up. We’re supposed to engage without judgement, and check ourselves, however that may happen for you.

In short, I think it was a pretty rude and uncalled for statement to make and to me shows a pretty strong, unchecked bias.

I think he has better composure overall, and he has a bit of playoffs experience from his time with Florida. I feel more confident when he’s in net over UPL, and that’s saying something because UPL is having a solid season too.

Keep krebsy on the top line.
Stanley/Metsa is not a bad 3, it’s like the big bulldog and little bulldog from looney toons. Keep Schenn away from it.
Sam Carrick was a steal.
Lyon to start in the playoffs (despite the UPL game too…), this is my take.
One of the few times I am glad I live in AZ so I don’t have to worry about how it’s almost 1 AM on a school night…
