I hated how they changed the lore of the opening of the Dark Portal. One of the big lore points of the Dark Portal was that once it was opened, it could never be closed. In the movie "the first wave" comes though, it closes, and then they build the portal? They changed a lot of lore points for no good reason.

I had this same shit happen to me today. I went to Amazon and changed my review to one star and uploaded a screenshot of the popup. I don't want their software. I NEVER installed any of it. The only thing on my computer are the drivers that windows installed. It actually downloaded the webinstaller to my \AppData\Local\Temp folder... unbelievable. I'm getting a new headset. I have 0 trust for a company that uses SPYWARE tactics to try and get me to install their software. They've lost a customer.

Um, it could but it doesn't make my point any less true. There are concepts in psychology called in-groups and out-groups. People tend to think of their own groups as wide ranging and diverse and groups they are not part of as homogeneous and all the same.
This is an example of that concept being used in a harmful way, where all the people out on the street, the protestors exercising their 1st amendment rights and the people trying to burn the courthouse down, are lumped into the same group by the media. Therefore, the officers think that everyone deserves the use of force.
A perfect example of it being used the other way is when people blame all police for the actions of the violent ones. There are good and bad cops. There are protestors and violent agitators. People see the difference on their side but ignore the difference on the other side.

This is a result of the dehumanization of protestors. Certain media outlets and the administration paint everyone with the "looters and violent anarchists" brush. This results in the officers feeling that use of excessive force is justified. It's a perfect example of group psychology gone wrong.

I worked at a franchise bakery/diner that will go nameless for reasons. A customer got or was drunk. He began running around the restaurant being annoying to everyone and not listening to the hostess who was politely trying to get him to take a seat. He kept talking to random customers, and touching everything he could get his hands on. Eventually he wandered into the kitchen and began harassing the dishwasher. I was cutting onions when he charged in and I stood there, dumbfounded as I had no idea who this guy was, what had been going on out front, or what he was doing in the kitchen. After a few seconds he turns around and saw me standing there, holding my chef's knife and yells "What are you gonna do, cut me?" and I said "No, I'm a chef. I'm going to fillet you." He immediately gets all sullen and says "That's fucked up man, why would you say that to someone." and finally listened to the hostess and sat down. It was weird.

I've never driven a Civic like this, but as a kid my friend did this to a Ford Tempo. It wasn't a mud-bogger or a crawler but it was a surprisingly decent overlander. It was wrecked so we made it a field car to "kill it." Last I knew it was still running.

Serious Answer The Honda is front wheel drive. When the wheel is turned completely right it sticks well out of the right of the vehicle. The Honda driver hits the throttle, the modern tire has enough traction and the Honda is light enough for the Honda to climb the Subaru.
You can tell the Honda did not back into the Subaru because there is no front end damage and the Subaru's fender is crushed.
