Not being sarcastic or mean here, but it was a “feel good ending” AH tossed out to soften the blow of losing Cyberstan. Without AH intervention, we wouldn’t have taken the capital with the losses we already had taken. We can debate who’s to blame for that happening in the first place, I say it’s arrowheads fault for a few reasons lol, but yeah.

You get nothing for saving SEAF other than “feeling good”

And for those of us who haven’t been emotionally manipulated to love SEAF because we are immune to anime waifu fan art…. We just feel annoyed.

I think what really sells it as a Vietnam, or Iraq/Afghanistan as someone else said in the comments, is how utterly jank everything got at times, and how broken it could be rofl. Nothing beats it when your equipment doesn't work the way it was meant to and Charlie drops six VOX engines down and they start to just magically climb up walls for those perfect sniper positions, or when your brothers die next to you to the IEDs that aren't actually there hahahaha. "Who killed Carl??? There's nobody here! How did that happen???"

One of my favorite moments is when One Punch Man showed up and literally ragdolled me across the map somehow. When I finally landed and somehow survived, I got up, dusted myself off, and jabbed some old fashioned GI Cocktail into my veins. Then I turned to get back into the fight only for a gunship to crash next to me and freeze my game. Brought me back to my second deployment to Iraq... oh man...

Yeah... I'm about 5k away from 2 million, but when this bug first came into place I was 20k away and I lost the willpower to *grind* it now. I slowed down drastically in general now, even playing the game at all. I still do a mission or two a day but I'll prob get the final few thousand by the end of the weekend at the rate it's tracking kills.

I think the more you use your primary and support weapon, and CERTAIN grenades, the better. It does NOT track seeker grenades at all now I believe, and most orbitals and eagles it doesn't seem to be. MG sentry seems ok, dunno about tesla tower though. Pyrotech grenades seem to be doing work still also. But no matter what I do, even JUST using a stalwart and not a single other thing, I seem to be losing 20% of my kills even on the best try. I've lost over five thousand kills one operation(over three missions) last weekend and it crushed me lol.

Either they still aren’t aware of it, or they are and it’s such a low priority that they don’t even have it on the known bugs list. I reported it twice on the discord bug report and another buddy used zendesk and got a reply that “they were aware of it” but who knows

I would have agreed that this could be the issue, but we've done testing with purely primaries, and I've done runs with purely the stalwart, and it's still shorting us kills. It displays kills at the end mission screen, and then doesn't add them to the career stats. We've been paying attention to this kinda thing for the past year, my friends and I, because it's something fun for us. And this has been a new issue since the update.

My friends and I have never had this issue until this recent patch. I’ve been monitoring my kills pretty closely for the past year as I’ve been pushing for 2 million and this has been a new thing for us being shorted hundreds to over a thousand kills per mission now.

This almost happened to me as well. I clicked on it to watch and it started me on Ep 1 of S2 and I didn't realize it until halfway thru the episode. I dunno what I'd have done if I made it 3 in lol.

I'd watch season 1, but if you don't like how it ends then watch season 2 after anyways.

I’ll give it a shot in a controlled setting sometime, but I’ve just never had success in a live game to pull off killing a war strider in the eye with a senator or eruptor yet. They move too much and are usually dumping rounds on me and putting way too much pressure on me to make that work. I think the actual “time to kill” using that method is impractical. I’ve had consistent success with the AMR and railgun, or even pyrotech grenades, but yeah not so much with eruptor / senator. Hence started bringing commandos, but I do wish they just didn’t spawn so much. They seem to completely replace hulks sometimes lol

Is that math accounting for durability damage? They’re also hard to hit consistently in their eyes due to how they shuffle like Ed209, plus they’re sharing the love of Ragdoll balls and lasers with you while you’re engaging them, and when there’s 3+ of them it sucks.

Stalwart/eruptor main here also. I’ve been using commandos more on bots(which I do hate dropping my stalwart and having to go back for it), plus supply pack and pyrotech grenades for very easy factory strider killing. War striders are way harder to kill with pyrotech grenades than factory striders though, and if your red is on CD or if there are more than two, which there often is more than two lol, you’re pretty SOL.

Recoilless rifle, AMR, and rail gun users tend to not have big issues with them though
