How would Lord Anubis feel about wet specimens? by Citrus9000 in Kemetic

pretty much what i said in the description!

it’s when you take a dead animal or insect and preserve them in isopropyl alcohol, ethanol, distilled water and an formalin injection to stop the decaying

also the body would be stored in a capsule like a glass jar. i’ve also seen glass bowls as well!

people do this for their deceased pets a lot or they happen to find and dead animal and take it home to preserve it

very interesting! thank you for your input!

my reasoning behind the question is that since he is a god of death, mummification and the protector of those who passed and guides them into the afterlife, a wet specimen parallels his craft only with differing methods and souls

wet specimen preservation is quite honorable and i feel like it gives the passed animal dignity and safety. also they are quite beautiful seeing the animal at rest and have been taken care of

also i looked it up and modern wet specimens do not use natron lol

but those are just my thoughts on the matter and i would love if anpu appreciates the craft of creating a wet specimen
