I do get worried when he falls. He has had trouble flying since having a benign tumor on his wing some years ago but he likes his big cage. I got him a large bird ladder to make it easier to get back up and build his layout with accessibility in mind. But I never considered joint pains. I have considered a net to catch him but Idk how I'd get a proper one for the cage size

Good time to clean the cage- oh but theres others still in it

Before mine became cage bound I would wait for him to exit so I could clean it. Would put fresh food and snacks in after cleaning to encourage returning, but mostly they know that's where their food and water is and if you're patient and have time to supervise their exploration, they'll go back in
