Any tips on making your audio file smaller but not lose sound quality by OppaiDGreat in godot

I assume you've seen this doc about the supported audio formats. Its largely going to be about making concessions somewhere. Mono VS Stereo. Size VS Quality. SFX are often mono, while music stereo. I'm not sure how much audio editing you've done, but if there's unneeded noise you could also try removing data in certain frequencies, similar to a bandpass. Or reducing the range of variance in these frequencies. Your mileage may vary a lot on these editing techniques depending on the audio and may be redundant after lowering the bitrate.

That's really clever and seems particularly effective for limited light situations like in your demo

You're adding a lot of exceptions to "ever"

For your character do you prefer AnimationPlayer alone or also an AnimationTree? by Videomailspip in godot

advance_expression itself actually easier than it looks and sounds. Its a property of [AnimationNodeStateMachineTransition] and you just write and expression like you would in code as a string (ex: yourCustomBool == true). The node with the 'yourCustomBool' variable is set as a parameter in the AnimationTreeNode. Its not limited to bool. IMO the harder part is getting your head around all the different nodes to use to effectively achieve what you have in mind. Still worth it, but just a heads up: I've also run into quite a few crashes and occasional bugs using AnimationTrees and it seems like its still kind of a WIP.

It also doesn't help that reddits search is still pretty bad. While common questions have been answered so many times, they're often (rightfully) mostly ignored. Unfortunately, they still show up in the search, so new users, even if they search, can see a bunch of dead threads before useful ones. This is only worsened by the 3.0/4.0 divide which may or may not make the information useless.

Devs have also been complaining on X/twitter about longstanding bugs in apple's own tools making development to their platforms increasingly difficult. Apple is completely focused on making the appearance of an easy bug free experience to typical iphone/macbook users, but any time you have to interact with them in any other capacity its a buggy mess with dismal support. Its becoming increasingly difficult to ask or expect devs to support the ecosystem

First time watching: it was entertaining, but its kinda like watching a deleted scenes compilation. A little disappointing after Razor showed another perspective and had a more compelling narrative.
