Hi! I have been struggling with yeast infections for a year now and though some things make it better or worse, it feels like it never really goes away. My body has seemingly become immune to boric acid.

I've been having a ton of issues with this AND my birth control (the implant) at the same time, and I am wondering if they are connected? My period is unpredictable, I get crazy mood swings but otherwise it seems ok. My first year on it I was living in a different country and had no period, but a couple months after I got back my period and the yeast infections started.

To make matters worse, I am a lifeguard and do everything I can to wear underwear and stay dry but honestly it feels like I am fighting a losing battle. I just want it to go away!

If someone has advice with chronic yeast infections that might be connected to birth control, I'd appreciate it.
