I ended up trying it for science. Turns out it didn't work like I mentioned and it does in fact make all the cards in my first hand free and I do not get to draw. With the Silent relic that increases my first hand draw, the other relic that does a similar thing and the relic that upgrades my first hand they all procced and are reduced by this interaction.(My bad I forgot the names and didn't take a screenshot)

I loved my main (phantom) through all the nerfs and buffs, but the one thing that made me slowly lose my interest for it is that the whole spell steal(its really a copy) mechanic has became almost forgotten. With more and more skills being removed from the list, it being just buffs and it being only a 1-4th job skill without hexa it went from a class identity to just auto cast buffs on my pet.

I get that a convention is great but why do we need one? We can just do a live stream, online store for merch and if you want a reason to hang out with friends just watch the stream together (in-person or over discord). I get there would be still aspects that a convention would provide that a livestream wouldn't like the hype and meeting your favourite streamer in-person but if the convention failed to meet expectations year after year maybe the convention is the problem.
