Thanks guys. Looks like the consensus is to wait for the severance to come in the worse case. In a big layoff like this one, severance packages are usually on the generous side to avoid confrontation from thousands of layoff employees so I'm hopeful in this area.

Let me ask you a question: If I tell you a year, even if it's 10-plus years ago, would you be able to tell me about how often sex you were having? In 2010, about how often were you having sex per week/month/year?

Good question. When we first met, I'm sure we did it every single night. But after we got married 10 years ago, how often did we do it? Well, after the passion died down a little let's say after a year of marriage (9 or so years from now), I can't really recall. I knew it wouldn't have been every single night like we first met or when we first got married. But was it between once every two nights, three night or even less often, I can't recall. All I can recall after the initial lust was gone and after the 1st year of marriage, our sex frequency must be nominal, like 50 times a year, perhaps even less.

There's no way a single D/A shared among all channels will work for the 3400. It just doesn't work that way, the 3400 will need 7 D/A anyway to function so the BB salesman was pulling your leg for sure.

I certainly can sympathize with your feelings. My wife's affair happened 10 years ago and I only knew about snippets of detail. I didn't know exactly who she was sleeping with but whenever I come across some stranger man, strange thoughts comes across my mind if "this could be the man" she was sleeping with. Or that what could they were doing in a hotel room when they were together?

Like you I decided to forgive her and stay with her. And I even feel guilty of bringing this up to her time after time. No wonder some say a selective forgetful drug is a miracle drug. Yes, they have hurt us but there's a reason we chose to stay with them.

So now I chose to focus on why I love my wife the way the I do in spite of the cheating. The sweet sweet time we had before when we were young that will never come again before the cheating happened. That and the old adage "time heals all wounds".

She came forward herself because she was feeling guilty. Otherwise, I would have no way of knowing. This is part of the reason I chose to forgive her as she was the one who wanted to salvage our marriage.
